It feels like just yesterday…

We were hosting the 10-year celebration of West Coast FM — a spectacular “Night at the Oscars” themed event. The Brewer & Butcher was transformed into a full movie set, where every detail captured the magic and glamour of Hollywood.

Under the leadership of then owner Clinton Lang, it was an absolute privilege to be part of such a milestone moment.

That event marked more than a celebration — it was a turning point.

From there, our events company grew from strength to strength. We expanded into five additional countries and delivered hundreds of events in the year that followed. But growth wasn’t just about scale — it was about evolution.

We adapted.
We innovated.
We stayed resilient.

And most importantly, we never stopped believing in the power of bringing people together through exceptional experiences.

Now, we’re stepping back into the spotlight.

With our new satellite office in Bournemouth, and alongside Dreamovator UK, we’re ready to elevate events once again — bringing back the very best in the business through Events Link Africa.

On this day, 21 March 2020 — exactly 6 years ago, the global hospitality industry mourned the passing of Sol Kerzner, the iconic “Sun King” of South Africa, who died of cancer at age 84. Born in Johannesburg, Kerzner was the visionary founder of the Southern Sun Hotel Group and Sun International, fundamentally reshaping international tourism with legendary resorts such as Sun City and The One & Only. His bold investments and world‑class developments helped put South Africa and destinations around the world on the luxury leisure map. Kerzner’s influence extended far beyond hotel walls: he professionalized hospitality, championed African enterprise, and inspired a generation of hoteliers. Yet his story was not without controversy, as he navigated the industry through apartheid and global expansion alike. Today, 6 years later, Sol Kerzner is remembered as a titan of tourism — a complex, visionary leader whose legacy continues to define global hospitality.
