Last week we hosted a lovely small group to close out this chapter—quiet moments, lots of laughs, and the charm of Modica all to ourselves.

Mid-season wrapped at Villa Carmela! ☀️🇮🇹
Last week we said goodbye to our final spring group—and what a season it’s been. From our very first guests to the wonderful crew who closed out this chapter, Villa Carmela has been filled with stories, flavours, and unforgettable moments.

The last group brought warmth, laughter, and that special energy that makes the countryside come alive. Long tables, golden sunsets, and meals that stretched late into the evening—that’s what we’ll remember.

Grazie to everyone who joined us so far. The villa gets a little quiet now… but not for long. ❤️🇮🇹

Boutique Barocca has its own rhythm. 🎶🇮🇹
Somehow, within a day or two, the palace feels like home. The morning routine sets in ☕, the kitchen becomes familiar 🍝, people with flour-dusted hands and glasses of wine 🍷.

Last week’s group slipped right into that rhythm—laughing in the hallways, swapping stories over chocolate tastings, and making Modica their own.

Same palace, new energy every time. And that’s the magic. ✨🇮🇹

The final dinner at Villa Carmela is always a little bittersweet. The same table where it all began—now filled with stories, laughter, inside jokes, and that quiet feeling that something special just happened.

It’s amazing how quickly a group can feel like a little family when you’ve cooked, explored, and shared so many moments together.

Another beautiful week at Boutique Barocca! 🏛️❤️
Our guests spent last week not only cooking and sharing meals—but living right in the heart of Modica, one of Sicily’s most enchanting Baroque towns.

Built into a hillside and known for its dramatic views, winding staircases, and world-famous chocolate 🍫, Modica has a way of stealing hearts. It’s a place where history and flavour meet at every corner—and we’re lucky to call it home for our Boutique Barocca experience.

Small group, big memories! 💫 Last week we welcomed a lovely group of 7 guests to Boutique Barocca, and what a beautiful week it was.

With a smaller group, the experience felt even more intimate—more time to connect, more space to savour each moment, and plenty of laughter around the table. From hands-on cooking classes to wandering Modica’s Baroque streets 🏛️, every day was full of warmth and discovery.

The countryside magic kicked off at Villa Carmela! 🇮🇹✨ Last week, we hosted our very first group of the season at our beloved Villa Carmela—with 11 wonderful guests who filled the villa with warmth, laughter, and unforgettable moments.

Surrounded by olive groves and carob trees, the week was all about slowing down, cooking together, and soaking in the beauty of Sicilian countryside life ☀️🌳🍝
