❓How many of you ACTUALLY start thinking of wanting to move to the country you are holidaying in?

MEEEE....LITERALLY EVERY TIME!!!!

, I am sure it's at least once a week we say "let's move to Orlando", this is our happy place.

But of lately it has been "let's move to Oman"... maybe because it is the most amazing and laid back country with beautiful landscapes and people ... 🩵

Eeekkkkk! Omg I just don't know where to move to!? LOL

😱Believe it or not ... even travelling initially many years back when the girls were young, took so much courage!

When I started my travel business , people were excited for me and the quotes and enquiries just poured in... bookings happened too ... LOVED IT! Such an adrenaline rush! Loved the research, the relationship building and finally the booking.

‼️GUESS WHAT!? I am still at it! If anything I have grown, my host company has grown so much, so much back up and provisions for us as agents, incredible suppliers too!

So yes being brave not only gave me a business BUT much more than I could have ever imagined!

And yes being brave at 50plus is literally the best thing ever!

Let me keep it real — I’m just like you.
Put in the years, paid the bills, did everything for everyone else…

For ages I thought: “Wait till retirement, THEN I’ll travel.”
Newsflash: That plan only gets you a holiday every few years… if you’re lucky. 🙄

I found a better way:

Kids gone. Calendar clear. Tenby called and we answered. This is what the next chapter looks like. ✨

This was an incredible trip spending time with some very special humans.

We have always liked Wales for our staycation getaways but? Tenby stole my heart! 😍

☀️The beautiful beaches, fresh clean air, incredible eateries and cafes. Lots of small quirky shops to mooch in too 🤩

My father literally the only man I have ever truly loved (sorry Kam!😆).

The only man I could rely on... from mapping out my routes for me, from an A to Z (if you know you know!) to letting me taking his Toyota Starlet to Uni to keep my journey comfortable and he would walk to work 🩵

🤩Yesterday, his birthday bash and these nostalgic photos bought back so many memories! All that he has done to make my life good and successful I have no words. He moved countries for me.

What he built he built for me. He is humble, doesn't have holidays like I do because that's his choice. But he is happy.

I am sure at some point he forgot about himself building a life for us - that's sacrifice.

We really need to keep in mind who we are doing all this hard work for.

I will be honest with you... the income does not happen instantly. Like any other business everything takes time to build.

But with this business there is no overheads, no business tax, no other bills... just fits in nicely with your home and existing work life.

For this young mum, it was exactly this.

Some people call that naive. I call it a head start. 🙏
