Do you need to travel to London for an overnight stay? It might cost you more.

England’s tourism industry could see further costs being passed on to ticket holders after the UK government signed over additional powers to local authorities in regard to their Overnight Visitor Levy.

This means that leaders would decide whether to impose a levy, which could raise prices of the surrounding accommodation, tour operators, booking platforms and TMCs.
