Six hotels and three villas/estates in two nights on the Cote d'Azur and Provence. 488km and 8 hours of driving. 1 unplanned google maps off road adventure. Behind the scenes tour of exciting new openings. 1 opening party.
Where did I go? What did I see?
Arev: St Tropez: A seven minute stroll into the heart of the glitz and glamour. Perfect for couples, friends and families. Loved it here!
Como Le Beauvallon: NEW just opened. Neat the traffic, only a boat ride accross the bay to St. Tropez. Perfect for art lovers and parties, celebrations and groups of friends and families.
Lilly of the Valley Hotel and Villas: Wellness focused (if you want it to be) with tailormade health and wellness programmes. Amazing spa, and strong villa options. Bring your gym gear. Children are welcome but there's no family facilities. Gorgeous beach club!
Domaine Louise: A hidden gem of 8 exclusive villas, from 1 to 11 bedrooms on a secure park estate near Gigaro, St. Tropez Bay. Can be fully staffed. For those who value privacy, space and do not want to be seen.
Zannier ile de Bendor - NEW opened 1st May. Loved it here and it was in the crazy stage the day before opening. A short boat ride from Bendor, a private island location and a full resort. Great for families and couples if avoiding school holidays.
Les Roches - We attended the 2026 opening party. Incredible sea front location. Expect Michelin star food, a fabulous spa and the roar of the ocean right outside your window.
Chateau de Berne: Love love loved this hotel! I cannot think of a single person who would not enjoy a stay here. Countryside location, with a cooking school, kids club, farm animals, vineyards, wine tasting, padel, pickleball, tennis, beautiful spa and wellness centre.
South of France and Monaco offers a diverse multi-destination trip. Top tip (and biased I know) but working with a expert travel agent can help you organise an itinerary to avoid the traffic dense roads.
