Another fantastic expedition in the High Atlas Mountains!

Our latest team took on five days of adventure, trekking through the beautiful Azzaden Valley, camping beneath the stars and making their way towards the summit of North Africa’s highest mountain, Mt Toubkal (4,167m).

Challenging trails, incredible scenery and some unforgettable moments along the way!

A huge well done to the team for taking on the challenge, and a big thank you to our mountain crew for looking after everyone throughout the expedition! đź‘Ź

Go beyond the Mekong.

Some of the best parts of Northern Laos are the moments you never plan for.

Local children coming out to say hello as you pass through their village. A man sitting quietly making traditional brooms by hand from gathered leaves. Women from local ethnic communities in traditional dress, going about everyday life. Riding deeper through small rural villages, passing families, livestock and homes tucked into the mountains. Then the dogs lounging by the roadside while the bikes stop for a break.

It’s these little glimpses into daily life that make Beyond the Mekong so much more than just a motorbike expedition.
