The Big Meet was born from a personal experience of loneliness that hit me hard.

Real community is what transformed being halfway around the world into the best experience of my life. That's when I realised just how important belonging actually is.

It's our right as human beings to belong to something beyond ourselves.

A recent word from after providing support for them to host their FIRST coffee event at , in the heart of London, as part of SEND Coffee ☕, who support young individuals with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, guiding them towards careers in the specialty coffee and hospitality sectors.

It was important to find two communities we felt resonated and aligned with the same values in empowering individuals with specific needs, promoting inclusion and providing opportunities to thrive in their career 👣❤️

We are incredibly grateful for how this event turned out and to SEND and TPN for allowing us to support their communities in a purposeful space 🫴

Don't we all simply crave some support whilst sipping a coffee? ☕

Well, we recently partnered with to support them hosting their very first Coffee Club event , in the heart of London. The venue is part of , who support young individuals with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, guiding them towards careers in the specialty coffee and hospitality sectors.

We wanted to support TPN's aim to foster meaningful connections and empower individuals in relaxed environments. 🧘🫴

This event was a success and we are very grateful for SEND and TPN for allowing us to support their vision for the community.

🏞️🏃🏽‍♀️Join the game changers, by taking part in Park Run (UK-wide), by running or volunteering!

If you haven’t heard, is a volunteer-led social running initiative around some of the UK’s best parks & scenic routes! 

Create/ Join a Meet on The Big Meet app at the Park meet-up location for any of the Park Runs to get to know other runners & ease newbie nerves before you go!

Here’s our favourite Park Run spots around London:

1. -> Clapham Common is a cult favourite of many because, well – it’s Clapham. Very convenient to meet up with your friends and loads of post-run coffee and brunch options. 

2. -> The OG, the Grandaddy, first-ever parkrun location! Thousands of pilgrims have travelled to this running mecca, since then, to take part – keep an eye out for the deer!

3. -> The course is beautiful & a very enjoyable run, with lovely pathways and views over the river. 

4. -> Unique parkrun along the Thames Path in Woolwich. Awesome views of the Thames & passing by some of the amazing Thames Path artwork.

5. -> A parkrun newcomer, around the newly regenerated Battersea Park area. This course has some amazing river views & brings the revitalised area to life!
