Have I found the one? Possibly.

And after 20 years of travelling to the Maldives, I don’t say that lightly.

Velaa Private Island feels different. Not flashy. Not trying too hard. Just quietly exceptional.

Everyone asks me the same question. When is the best time to visit the Maldives?

The honest answer is that it depends on your budget, your flexibility and what you’re willing to risk. I’ve seen rain in peak season and brilliant sunshine in October. No month comes with a guarantee.
