📣 A quick update from us...

Over the past few years, Latitude Life has grown thanks to the support of our wonderful clients, friends, family and followers. Whether you've booked a holiday with us, referred someone our way, engaged with our posts or simply cheered us on from the sidelines, thank you 🙏

As our business continues to evolve, we've been reflecting on where we invest our time and energy. We've come to realise that the most meaningful conversations and lasting relationships happen through personal connections rather than maintaining a business page.

With that in mind, we will no longer be sharing new content on this page. Don't worry though – we're certainly not going anywhere!

We'll continue helping clients plan memorable journeys and sharing travel inspiration, destination ideas, cruise news and stories from our own adventures.

Going forward, we'll be sharing these updates primarily on Instagram at .travel, alongside our personal social channels where we enjoy connecting more directly with clients, friends and fellow travellers.

This page will remain here as a record of our journey over the past four years. Thank you for being part of our Latitude Life story so far. Here's to the next chapter! 😊

A lovely catch-up in Manchester yesterday as Anthony met up with our Not Just Travel Business Consultant, Deb ☀️

Over the past year, Deb has been a huge source of support and encouragement for us as we navigated a major life transition — moving back to Canada while continuing to run and grow our UK business from across the pond.

Running an international business definitely comes with its challenges, so having people in your corner who genuinely care makes all the difference. We’re incredibly grateful for Deb’s guidance, positivity and belief in us during this chapter of our journey.

Just Booked ☀️ 🏖️ 🛳️

Excited to have confirmed our first booking onboard Norwegian Aqua — one of the newest ships in Norwegian Cruise Line’s Prima Plus Class and one of the most exciting new family cruise ships at sea right now.

This Easter 2027 holiday for a family of four with two teenage sons combines:
☀️ 2 nights in Miami’s vibrant Brickell district
🛳️ 7 nights onboard Norwegian Aqua in connecting balcony cabins
🏖️ 4 nights relaxing in Miami Beach after the cruise

The Eastern Caribbean sailing visits the Dominican Republic, St. Thomas, Tortola, and Great Stirrup Cay — NCL’s newly re-imagined private island in the Bahamas.

Having sailed with Anthony on Norwegian Prima back in 2022 and toured Aqua myself in Miami last November (where I ran into the ever # popular bartender Clarense who we first met on Prima 🍹), it’s great to finally have one of our clients soon experience this incredible ship. It really takes the Prima Class concept to the next level, including the brand new Aqua Slidecoaster — the world’s first hybrid rollercoaster and waterslide at sea 🎢🌊 (sadly I didn’t get a chance to try it out).

Now the fun really begins as we help them make the most of the experience before they even sail — from Miami recommendations and shore excursions to onboard tips, dining and getting the most value from everything included in their very first cruise holiday 😊

This time last week, we were heading down to New Jersey to visit our good friend Chris after spending two nights in Manhattan 🗽

Having both visited NYC many times over the years — together and separately — we didn’t put too much pressure on ourselves to tick off attractions this time around. Instead, the trip was simply about switching off for a few days, enjoying the atmosphere, and spending time in one of our favourite cities.

No matter how many times we visit, we never miss a walk through Central Park. We’ve now experienced the city in all four seasons, and every visit feels a little different.

We also managed to fit in two Broadway shows — one booked in advance and one very spontaneous same-day decision — plus a visit to the relatively new Museum of Broadway (which probably deserves a separate post as I took way too many photos 😅).

Add in some delicious meals, time with friends, and a chance to properly recharge, and it was exactly the reset we needed.

We skipped many of the major attractions this time, but if you’re planning your first trip to the Big Apple — whether it’s sightseeing, Broadway, food, neighbourhood hotels, or simply knowing how to make the most of your time — we’d be very happy to assist 🇺🇸

Six months ago, we packed up our life in the UK and made the move back to Canada.

Since then, aside from a work trip to Miami just a few weeks after arriving, we’ve stayed grounded — focusing on settling in, reconnecting, and laying the foundation for the next chapter of Latitude Life.

But that changes today.

We’re back at the airport and heading off on our first proper trip of 2026 ✈️

A little reset. A little adventure. And a reminder of why we built this business in the first place.

We’re keeping the destination under wraps for now… but if you want to follow along, we’ll be sharing the journey on our Instagram .travel over the next few days 👀

We quietly hit a milestone this weekend — £1 million in sales since starting our travel business in 2022 🎉

We’re really proud of that.

But if we’re honest, we also thought we might have reached it sooner.

It’s easy to look around and see some of our peers hitting similar numbers — or far beyond — much more quickly. And yes, we’ve definitely felt that comparison at times.

But context matters.

For much of this journey, it was just one of us working full time in the business. Alongside that came other commitments and a big international move.

So to reach this point — despite all of that — does mean something.

More importantly, it’s given us clarity.

As we move into the next phase — continuing to grow our UK client base while preparing to launch in Canada — we’re being much more intentional about what we’re building.

Fewer, more meaningful client relationships.
More personalised trips where we can really add value.
A more considered, hands-on approach from start to finish.

Less about volume — and more about doing this the right way for us.

This milestone is a moment to pause and reflect, a chance to take everything we’ve learned over the past few years and continue building on it from here.

Following on from our recent post about changes at European borders, there’s already an update worth noting (link in comments).

Greece has confirmed a decision around how it plans to introduce the EU Entry/Exit System (EES), including the use of biometric checks for travellers.

It’s a helpful reminder that while the overall system is the same, how it’s rolled out on the ground may vary slightly by destination — and could impact your experience when arriving in Europe.
