Iconic Greenwich. Where history, architecture, and the River Thames meet. 📍 The colonnade portico of the Royal Naval Academy in Greenwich never fails to impress! ⚓

Standing proudly in the heart of Greenwich, the colonnaded portico of the Royal Naval Academy is a masterpiece of British classical architecture. 🏛️

Designed in the 18th century as part of the Royal Hospital for Seamen (later the Royal Naval College), this elegant colonnade reflects the vision of some of Britain’s greatest architects, including Sir Christopher Wren and Nicholas Hawksmoor.

Its graceful rows of columns, open walkways, and harmonious proportions create one of the most recognisable architectural scenes on the Greenwich riverside.

Originally built to provide a grand entrance and sheltered passage between the buildings of the complex, the portico has witnessed centuries of naval history — from the education of future officers to Greenwich’s role as a centre of maritime heritage.

Today, it remains one of the most photographed features of the Old Royal Naval College, perfectly framing views of the Thames and reminding visitors of Greenwich’s remarkable past.

London has done it again... or rather, Banksy has. 🎨🖤

The latest Banksy piece appeared in London at the end of April 2026, instantly drawing crowds, cameras, and plenty of speculation. Whether you see it as social commentary, political satire, or simply another brilliant act of guerrilla art, one thing is certain—it has everyone talking.

Street art has a unique way of turning everyday corners into places of curiosity and conversation, and this latest work is no exception.

📍Have you seen it in person yet? What do you think Banksy is trying to say this time?

One of London's loveliest little traditions is how warmly it welcomes four-legged visitors. Step into many pubs across the city and you'll often find a dedicated corner with fresh water, treats, and sometimes even food bowls waiting for dogs.

It's a simple gesture, but one that says a lot about London's pub culture. These aren't just places to enjoy a pint—they're community spaces where everyone is welcome, including your furry companion. Whether you're stopping by after a walk through one of the city's parks or simply enjoying a cosy afternoon indoors, chances are your dog will be treated like a valued guest.

It's just another reason why exploring London's pubs is about much more than great food and drinks—it's about experiencing the city's unique sense of hospitality.

🐾 Have you discovered a dog-friendly pub in London that deserves a mention? Tell us your favourite in the comments and help fellow dog lovers find their next cosy stop!
