This is SJ Villas, the family and faces behind so many holidays, adventures and memories.

My mother, Judy, founded SJ Villas over 20 years ago, and I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built together. We’ve always believed in keeping things personal. Knowing our villas intimately, understanding the families who travel with us, and paying attention to the little details that make the difference.

To everyone who has travelled with us, recommended us to friends, opened their homes to us, or simply followed our journey, thank you.

Earlier this year, Tom travelled to The Bahamas in search of some very special additions to the SJ Villas Caribbean collection, and came back rather taken with the place.
It’s not hard to understand why. Scattered across 100,000 square miles of pristine ocean are 700 islands, secret sandbars, deserted coral cays and stretches of impossibly pink sand.

It’s a part of the Caribbean that feels wonderfully untouched🌊

Set high in the Endeavour Hills, its verandahs look out across Mustique and neighbouring islands, making the sunrise here worth getting up early for.

There’s an easy rhythm to the villa: breakfast outside, afternoons around the heated pool, drinks in the gazebo and plenty of space for everyone to disappear with a book.

It’s a Barbados winter. This gorgeous, intimate villa above the west coast is a little wellness retreat of your own. Think infrared sauna, Peloton gym, yoga pavilion, organic kitchen garden and saltwater pool, all completely chemical-free. Even a koi pond. The perfect antidote to a dark English winter if you ask Judy and I.
