While waiting for my today's group who decided to find out how easy it is to navigate the tube without a guide;)

The King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Memorial is located along The Mall in central London, situated between Carlton Gardens and St. James's Park. Designed by William McMillan, the bronze statue of King George VI in his naval uniform was unveiled by his daughter, Queen Elizabeth II, in 1955. In 2009, a companion bronze statue of Queen Elizabeth (the Queen Mother) sculpted by Philip Jackson was added to the site. The expanded monument features architectural stairs and bronze relief panels by Paul Day depicting key moments from the royal couple's lives, including their wartime support for Londoners during the Blitz.

Your warm hospitality, captivating local knowledge, and easygoing energy made every step of our journey absolutely delightful. Stepping into this lively Chinatown buffet, you're immediately greeted by the rich, comforting aromas of great food.

Over fifty local schoolchildren fill the centre tables, their laughter echoing off the bright decor as they pile their plates high with sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, and crispy spring rolls. It’s easy to see why this spot is a neighborhood staple-the sheer variety of dishes keeps everyone happy, offering an irresistible taste of classic Chinatown comfort food at its very best. What a fantastic day :)

While the rest of the tour group ducked inside to grab a bite, the two friends lingered in the quiet sunshine of Paternoster Square. Frame-worthy views of St. Paul's Cathedral loomed right above them, offering the perfect backdrop to kick back and take in the afternoon air.

Thank you, you two ladies, for the walk, the laughs, the endless energy and, of course, for surviving a group of kids who mysteriously disappeared for a moment… only to reappear in search of food. 😂

Honestly, what a day! So much fun, so much chaos, and somehow one of the best times I’ve had in London. The kind of day that leaves you tired, slightly confused, but mostly wondering when we can do it all over again. 😄

Thank you for the laughs, the crazy moments and all the good vibes. London definitely feels more fun with you two around! ❤️

See you again soon - hopefully with all the kids accounted for this time. 😉
