Farming biodynamically since the beginning, Ancre Hill let nature take the lead in everything they do. The result is wines that are complex, characterful and completely their own.

If you haven’t tried them yet, Welsh Wine Week is the perfect excuse.

It’s Great British Rosé Week (4th to 10th May) and we’re raising a glass to the brilliant rosés being made right here on home soil. English and Welsh rosé is distinct, shaped by our unique soils and cooler climate.

Whether you’re visiting a vineyard this week, heading to one of the many events happening across the country, or simply picking up a bottle to try at home, now is the perfect time to explore what’s growing on your doorstep.

A special mention to the brilliant founders behind this week, and who launched their own sparkling rosé last year made from 100% Pinot Meunier, is well worth seeking out. Buy direct at the link in their bio.

Whilst it’s great to get out and experience these wines in a vineyard setting, there are also lots of brilliant producers without cellar doors. Keep an eye on the UK Vineyard Guide app, where we’ll be sharing where you can find and buy their wines.
