Exciting times as we prepare to move to the diocese of Norwich in 3 weeks. Please pray for us as we make the big move - new house, school and life for us all.

Please also pray for Tom as he is ordained Deacon in Norwich Cathedral on June 28th, all are very welcome to attend 💙 there will be much celebration afterwards 🎉🍾

UP THE IMPS!!

Lincoln City Football Club have been promoted to the Championship (second tier of professional football) having won league 1 with over 100 points. We are absolutely delighted to see the imps celebrating with the original imp in our beloved Lincoln Cathedral, especially with legendary Custos and life-long Imps fan, Stuart celebrating with some of the players. Well done, Imps - we are very proud!

We’ve braved the cold to head out to Cambridge!

How do we know the best places to visit and things to see? By going there! There’s only so much work that Google can do, sometimes you need someone who has actually been on the ground and knows what works.

We were very sad to hear of the death of John Bertalot (JB). A larger than life character and titan of the choral world. He somehow felt like he might just carry on forever! He was a great friend and support to Tom during his time at Blackburn Cathedral and beyond. While they hadn’t seen each other for a few years, regular email contact continued until a few weeks ago. Always interested in how people were doing and what role their time in choirs had influenced their path, he will be greatly missed by so many. Rest well, JB.

It’s been an exceptionally busy week here, it’s half term! Which means we’ve had all 3 boys with us whilst we attempt normal church/work/life things. William has been helping Tom out at church, superstar boat boy!

We had some lovely pancakes on Shrove Tuesday and I couldn’t not share this absolute beauty of an Ash Wednesday cross that Tom came home with.
