Well, not only have they made it (finally!) but they also smashed evensong out of the park! Top stuff from the choir of Redeemer Bryn Mawr, especially as they only landed a few hours before evensong! Stanford in B flat and Evening Hymn by Balfour-Gardiner followed by some very generous hospitality by the Archdeacon of Canterbury in his garden. The choir are now enjoying a dinner at The Cosy Club before turning in, ready for a day exploring Rochester tomorrow. Well done, friends - sleep well!

So, American Airlines cancelled the flight for our friends from Redeemer Bryn Mawr for a SECOND time last night. We are hoping and praying that third time is a charm tonight and that we will have them with us tomorrow. Please send these wonderful people your most positive vibes as they embark on a third attempt to cross the pond!

Sadly, our friends from Redeemer Bryn Mawr had their flight cancelled so they are yet to arrive in this beautiful city. We have, however managed to sort out some more airport transfers, moved the opening meal and sorted out logistics so that they can jump straight into rehearsal and evensong when they arrive tomorrow! Canterbury Cathedral staff have been marvellous and extremely welcoming and we’ve spent some time exploring and photographing this extraordinary building. Keep your fingers crossed for a more successful second attempt tomorrow!
