BIG NEWS!!!

📌 Please save the date – Wednesday 24th June from 6pm-8pm – we will be celebrating our 45th BIRTHDAY at Boulangerie Jade (next door), please come & join us for a drink and celebrate 45 years with us. We were unable to celebrate 40 years as this was during Covid restrictions.

🎉I did it, 32 miles in wind & rain like I’ve never seen before! The keen cyclists 🚴‍♀️called it brutal. I’d been told it was flat & fine for a new cyclist…..they lied 🤦🏻‍♀️
Nearly got blown off our bikes when we cycled by the 🌊….wind & waves were rough, the photo does not do it justice. The last 3 miles were in the open, against the strong wind 💨 we’d been advised to cycle in 4’s & take turns against it….I did this on my own as I’d lost most of the cyclists☹️….at one point it felt like the wind was blowing me backwards 😂
I finished though & wasn’t the last!
And had the best night’s 😴 ever!
Double win!!

Update….the next island is a short 5 min ride away & has the whitest sand & 🦭(lots!)

For those of you wondering if Diane has fallen off her bike 🚴‍♀️….she hasn’t and is already thinking about her next trip 🚲

She loved cycling 🚴‍♀️ through India 🇮🇳 taking in the sights🌴sounds and smiley people 😊

She spent a night on a 🚤 houseboat gliding through the backwaters 🌅 followed by a train ride 🚊 to Varkala.

On her way there was an encounter with an 🐘 which was part of a 🎉Hindu festival procession.

On the final day the bike 🚲 was abandoned to relax and read her book 📖 on the beach 🏝️

Namaste 👋from Diane in Kerala, India 🇮🇳
who is on a cycling holiday 🚴‍♀️ with Exodus (she’s not a cyclist!) but is pushing herself out of her comfort zone in 2026 and so far, loving it 🥰

She started in Kochi 2 days ago and has cycled 🚴‍♀️ almost 100km down the coast 🌴to a backwater village in Alleppy 🏞️for a homestay 🏡

On the way they were enlisted by a government officer 👮 to promote safety, had dinner 🥘 with a family & were invited into a wedding 👰‍♀️!
