The spa itself is exceptional. A series of chambers, steam rooms, and open-air lagoons that you move through slowly.

Barbados is often seen as a winter destination, but travelling in the UK summer offers a different perspective.

There’s something magical about travelling to places like this with your children.

It shifts the experience from simply seeing somewhere new to understanding it together. The scale of it, the silence, the sense of being somewhere truly remote.

These were taken in the Arctic, on a mother-and-daughter journey navigating icebergs and open water, with time spent exploring both by boat and on foot.

What stands out isn’t just the landscape, but the perspective it offers. A chance to step outside the everyday and experience something far larger, side by side.
