We are delighted to announce the Le Cordon Bleu Scholarship 2026 Finalists. 🎊 🎉 🍾

After incredibly competitive semi-finals, 32 candidates have been reduced to just 14 Le Cordon Bleu Scholarship Finalists. The level of passion for the culinary arts demonstrated by the semi-finalists was incredible and it made the finalist selection all the more challenging.

Each of the 32 semi-finalists were interviewed and had to complete two sensory analysis challenges. Alongside Le Cordon Bleu Master Chefs and team, the judging panel for the semi-finals included Weilu Wang, Head Pastry Chef at Sketch’s 3 Michelin Star Lecture Room & Library and Le Cordon Bleu alumni Sasha Berman and Ori Hellerstein. Sasha is Senior Reciper Developer for Great British Chefs, while Ori is Founder of the award winning Artisan Baker based in Stroud.

The Scholarship Finals will take place on Monday 21st September 2026 at Le Cordon Bleu London’s Bloomsbury Institute, where the finalists will participate in a culinary challenge set by Le Cordon Bleu Master Chefs, before presenting their completed task to a judging panel comprising some of the best in the industry.

Judges in the Final include Emily Roux, Chef Owner of 1 Michelin-starred Caractère; Chris Galvin, Chef Patron of Galvin Restaurants which includes the 1 Michelin-starred Galvin La Chapelle and Le Cordon Bleu Head Patisserie Chef Julie Walsh.

Le Cordon Bleu is delighted to host a guest chef demonstration with John Chantarasak on Wednesday 2nd September.

John is an alumnus of Le Cordon Bleu and co-founder of Michelin-starred , a restaurant serving food inspired by his dual Thai-British heritage. AngloThai predominantly serve dishes that are inspired by Thailand but using as much local British seasonal produce as possible.

John trained at Le Cordon Bleu Dusit in Bangkok, then going on to work at Nahm under David Thompson, rated the best restaurant in Asia at the time. After years of pop-ups and residencies across around the world, he opened his restaurant in 2024 and earned a Michelin star just three months after opening.

We are delighted to announce we will be hosting four Live Patisserie and Cuisine demonstrations, led by Le Cordon Bleu Master Chef Anthony Boyd in the stunning surroundings of Edinburgh's Royal Botanic Garden on 26th and 27th September.

This special event will offer insight into our French culinary techniques, learning methodology and professional training standards.
