We're delighted to continue our relationship with Sotheby's Institute of Art (SIA) for the inaugural edition of Imprint.

Building on a connection first established at Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair, this partnership continues to bring the next generation of arts professionals into the heart of the Fair, as students and recent graduates from SIA join our sales team.

Working directly with galleries, artists and collectors offers invaluable first-hand experience of the contemporary art market, while creating opportunities to develop the knowledge, relationships and confidence that shape a career in the arts.

These conversations extend into the Imprint Forum, where discussions exploring the art market and wider art ecosystem offer further insight into the people, practices and structures that shape the contemporary art world.

As we prepare to open our doors next week, we look forward to welcoming SIA's emerging arts professionals and continuing to build a relationship that connects education with practical experience.

The countdown is on. Just one week until Imprint opens its doors for its inaugural edition.

From 29 October to 01 November, Lawrence Hall in Westminster will become a destination for original contemporary print, bringing together leading galleries, print studios, publishers, artists and collectors for four days dedicated to the medium.

Discover an exceptional selection of original prints, explore new approaches to printmaking and join us for a programme of artist talks, live demonstrations, workshops and conversations at the Imprint Forum.

An Eye for Detail | Lawrence Hall SW1

Next week, the doors of Lawrence Hall open for the inaugural edition of Imprint. Before the artworks arrive and the Fair takes shape, we're taking a moment to appreciate the architectural details of our central London home for the week.

Designed by Easton and Robertson and constructed between 1925 and 1928, Lawrence Hall is a remarkable example of Art Deco architecture. From its sweeping staircases and geometric ironwork to its decorative plasterwork and vaulted ceiling, the building retains much of its original character.

Over the years, Lawrence Hall has provided an impressive backdrop for exhibitions, events and film productions, with appearances in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Children of Men and Killing Eve.

Soon, these historic spaces will be filled with galleries, artists, collectors and conversations. We can't wait to welcome you.

In the Studio | Rudolph Taylor & Holly EJ Black

A closer look at the art of printmaking, from the artist's studio to the history of the medium.

We join Rudolph Taylor, Imprint Artist of the Year 2026, and Holly EJ Black, writer, editor and Contributing Arts Editor at The World of Interiors, for a conversation exploring the creative processes, materials and ideas behind original printmaking.

Holly's new book, The Story of Printmaking (Yale University Press, 2026), traces the medium's rich history and enduring significance, while Rudolf offers an insight into his own artistic practice and approach to making.

Together, they reflect on the relationship between technique and expression, and the possibilities that continue to make print such a compelling medium for contemporary artists.

We’re delighted to welcome The Royal Academy of Arts (RA) to Imprint 2026!

Founded in 1768, the Royal Academy has played a central role in championing art and artists in Britain for over 250 years. Home to the Summer Exhibition, the world’s longest-running open-submission art exhibition, and the RA Schools, the UK’s longest-established art school, the RA continues to support artists across generations.

At Imprint, the will showcase its RA Editions programme, which commissions original works by Royal Academicians and invited artists, supporting contemporary artistic practice while generating vital funding for the next generation of artists studying at the RA Schools.

In this video, Will Clarke, Art Sales Curator at the RA, introduces Caragh Thuring RA’s The Rock Pool (2026), a new edition created in response to the exhibition Painting the French Riviera.

Combining colour etching with aquatint, sugarlift, spitbite, chine collé and photopolymer, the print brings together layered imagery inspired by the exhibition, from bathers and foregrounded foliage to the distinctive tones of the landscape.

Produced at the RA Schools in an edition of just 20, the work reflects Thuring’s experimental approach to printmaking and the remarkable possibilities of etching.
