Back again 👋

The super cool Seb Seb is returning to Thailand 🇹🇭

Next week, he’ll be with all our other teachers, learning and laughing at orientation in Bangkok ✈️

Many years on, this time he will not be a tourist, he is a teacher ready to join the community and contribute to society 💙

“I visited Thailand a while ago and remember it very fondly. Joining Impact has allowed me the opportunity to return and explore a new side of the country as an adult, and appreciate it in a way I didn’t fully get to the first time” 👏

How much? 🙀

In Australia, you can earn roughly £57,000 ($77,000) a year as a teacher, before tax 💸

That number still looks pretty good after deductions, totalling around £44,000 ($59,000) 👏

To qualify for our Australia program, you need to be qualified in your home country and have classroom experience, a TEFL alone won’t cut it ✅

You could work all across the country, but most of the placements are in Victoria, with Melbourne or the suburbs such as Geelong 🏡

Not only is the salary great and the lifestyle fantastic, but the cost of living is less than big cities in the UK and US 👍

Teach by the beach … in China 🏝️

Our new partner school in Haikou is offering 15,000 RMB a month, just under £1,700, to teachers who want a sunnier version of the Middle Kingdom ☀️

All you need is a degree and a TEFL certificate (which we’ll help you get), and to be from one of the qualifying countries ✅

Haikou is a vibrant city that offers a cheaper cost of living than other hubs in the region, such as Shenzhen 💸

Your salary goes much further, so you can spend it beach hopping across the island, and in Sanya, which is only an hour and a half by bullet train 🏃🏻‍♀️

Reunited over pizza 🍕

From Shanghai to Chiang Mai, our Thailand Coordinator Josh Up North had a great time with some old friends from his time teaching in China 👯‍♀️

They took in his disabled dog when he left Shanghai for a holiday to Thailand back in 2020, she’s been with them ever since 🩵

Catching up over good food and temple wanders was just what the doctor ordered, and they already have plans to meet again in China early next year 🍜

Cheers to Thailand 🥂

It’s been quite the ride for Alyssa Peters 🇹🇭

The South African hasn’t looked back since swapping Poland for the Land of Smiles ☀️

And she’s been flourishing at her school in Nakhon Si Thammarat for 15 months now 👏

But it’s time for a new adventure, and we wish her all the best ☺️

Very nice, Vilnius 👏

The capital city of Lithuania is often overlooked by travellers ❌

We think that’s a massive shame 🥲

Full of culture, history, and amazing people, it’s a beautiful place not only to visit, but to live 🏡

And you can make it your new home as a teacher at our partner school in the city ✅

They’re a fantastic international school looking for one maths, and one science teacher, to start in January 2027 👩🏻‍🔬

The salary is €1,500 to €1,800 depending on experience, which goes a long way in Lithuania, where the cost of living is significantly lower than western Europe and the US 💸

Ideally, you must have experience teaching the subjects mentioned 📝

Shining in Shenzhen ✨

The awesome Eliot started just started at his news school in the southern Chinese metropolis earlier this week, after some invaluable training with our partner in the city 🍎

We’re super impressed with his language ability as he’s reached HSK level 2 within only a few months of studying Mandarin 😳

There’s no doubt in our mind that he’s going to be an incredible teacher and resident of Shenzhen, making friends with the locals and making the most of all it has to offer 🙌

The awesome Alexandra is at it again … exploring her way though Asia one country after the next ✅

It was Japan this time round 🇯🇵

And boy does it look like an inedible adventure 🍜

She started teaching in China back in February of 2026 … and hasn’t looked back since 🩵
