"I have four kids and I got tired of spending 70% of my travel budget on hotels or Airbnb’s! I’ve calculated that some of my trips have been in the range of £10,000 per trip, but instead I’m paying £0 because we’re using Love Home Swap. Because of this saving, we get to travel quite a lot – I tend to travel three times more than most of my friends, purely because of home swapping.”
"Another great thing is that you’re not in as much of a hurry as when you’re staying at an expensive hotel for a short time. On a home swap you can stay for three weeks instead of just five or ten days, so you can be much more relaxed. You’re not rushing to buy tickets for an attraction every day like you do in a hotel. I can just wake up and say: “Oh, the weather is nice today, why don’t we try doing that?”
