SANTORINI. OCTOBER. FANTASTIC CALL @ £597PP

By October, Santorini has changed gear.

The crowds thin out. The temperature drops a notch. The light gets better. And suddenly, the island feels less like a global phenomenon and more like somewhere you’ve got the inside track on.

This is the smart season.

And this affordable little bolthole packs a serious Santorini punch.

Set in Karterados, just moments from Fira, this contemporary boutique retreat does Santorini style without going full postcard. Sculptural white architecture. Natural textures. Beautifully finished interiors. Very good taste.

CHECK IN. LOOK AROUND.

Rooms and suites range from approximately 25–55 sqm, with king-size beds, rainfall showers and private outdoor spaces.

Some suites have outdoor jacuzzis.

There’s an infinity pool.

There are Aegean views.

And there is absolutely no shame in taking approximately 400 photographs.

OCTOBER HAS ENTERED THE CHAT.

Early October is still gloriously Mediterranean — around 25°C by day, with the Aegean sitting at around 23°C at the start of the month. Yes, you can still swim. Yes, you still need sunglasses. Yes, pack the swimwear.

Evenings are cooler, so bring one excellent jacket and call it packing.

THEN GO EXPLORE.

Karterados puts you close to Fira without dropping you into the full-on caldera circus.

Head north to Oia. South for beaches and wineries. Hire a car and disappear into the villages. Take to the water. See where the day takes you.

☀️ THE BASQUE COUNTRY HAS ENTERED THE CHAT… AND SHOWING OFF… QUITE RIGHTLY SO @ £463pp!!

Still clinging to summer? Good. Because I’ve found a rather outrageous, gorgeous bolthole for 8 that might just make September feel like a very good idea… and the perfect excuse to catch the last of that European sunshine.

Tucked into the lush Basque countryside, this seriously slick private villa comes with mountain views, a heated infinity pool and enough swagger to make your average holiday rental look like it’s been trying far too hard.

Four bedrooms. Huge open-plan living. Air-con. Wi-Fi. Gorgeous gardens.
And then you go downstairs…

Home cinema. Pool table. Bar. WINE CELLAR.

Basically, an underground playground for grown-ups — although multi-generational tribes are very welcome too. 😏

Outside, there’s a 10m heated pool, space to flop, feast, play and generally behave like you’ve got your life together.

You haven’t, obviously.

You’re on holiday.

And when you can’t be bothered to cook, chef and meal-delivery services are available. Hallelujah.

📍 THE LOCATION? Très, très good.

You’re just 3km from the village, with Biarritz and St-Jean-de-Luz around 30 minutes away, plus golf, beaches, surf, hiking and some of the prettiest Basque villages you’ll ever clap eyes on.

Go feral in the great outdoors.

Go fancy in Biarritz.

Cross into Spain for a San Sebastián day trip… Yay! Pintxos galore!!

Eat your body weight in Basque food.

Ride the little train up La Rhune.

Or simply lie by the pool looking smug.

All perfectly acceptable holiday behaviour.

💥 NOW FOR THE BIT THAT MAKES YOU LOOK TWICE…

7 nights from Saturday 26 September 2026 — £463pp when 8 share.
That’s £3,703 for the whole villa.

⚠️ Important: that price is VILLA ONLY — flights and car hire can be added separately at an extra cost.

But still…

Private villa. Private pool. Basque countryside. Atlantic coast. Wine cellar.
For £463pp?

That’s not a holiday.

That’s an outrageously excellent September plot twist. 🇫🇷🔥

Curious? You know what to do! 👀

🌴 SRI LANKA: SMALL ISLAND, MASSIVE PERSONALITY 🌴

Some holidays are all about the beach.

Some are all about the sights.

This one simply refused to choose.

Depart Gatwick on 30 October 2026 and arrive the following day ready for 18 nights exploring a country that somehow squeezes ancient kingdoms, misty mountains, leopard-filled national parks, golden beaches and some seriously impressive hotels onto one remarkably compact island.

Your journey begins in Colombo before heading to Dambulla, where you'll spend three nights surrounded by lush landscapes and within easy reach of the legendary Sigiriya Rock Fortress and ancient cave temples.

Next, it's on to Kandy, where your hillside hotel serves up spectacular panoramic views across the city and surrounding mountains – the kind of views that make you stop mid-conversation and simply stare.

Then comes Ella...

And Ella doesn't really do subtle.

Think rolling tea plantations, dramatic mountain scenery, cloud-kissed valleys and some of the most jaw-dropping views on the entire island.

From there you'll head into Sri Lanka's wild side with a two-night stay near Yala National Park. Keep your eyes peeled for elephants, crocodiles, exotic birdlife and, if luck is on your side, the elusive Sri Lankan leopard.

Then it's time to swap safari adventures for coastal calm with three nights in Ahangama, where swaying palms, boutique charm and laid-back beach vibes take centre stage.

Finally, round off your adventure with three nights in Negombo, where golden sands and Indian Ocean sunsets provide the perfect finale.

✨ Ancient cities
✨ Tea-covered mountains
✨ Incredible wildlife
✨ Boutique hideaways
✨ Beachfront relaxation
✨ One unforgettable journey

What's Included?

✈️ Return flights from Gatwick
🧳 23kg luggage allowance per person
🏨 18 nights accommodation
🥐 Daily breakfast
🚗 Private transfers throughout
💷 From just £2,516pp
✔️ Secure your place with a deposit of only £445 total

❤️ Why I Love It

Every now and then I put together an itinerary where everything just clicks.

The route flows beautifully, the hotels get better and better as you travel through the island, and every few days the scenery completely changes.

One minute you're exploring ancient kingdoms, the next you're gazing across tea plantations, heading out on safari or watching the sun disappear into the Indian Ocean.

For me, that's what makes Sri Lanka so special - Small island - Massive personality.

🔥VIETNAM 2026 - BECAUSE ADULTHOOD IS OVERRATED 🔥

Ever have one of those moments where you start looking at holidays and suddenly find yourself planning a 16-day adventure across Vietnam?

Yeah. That.

Departing 28th October 2026, this trip starts in the chaos of Hanoi, heads through the jaw-dropping landscapes of Ninh Binh, spends a few days pretending responsibilities don't exist on Phu Quoc Island, and finishes in the organised madness of Ho Chi Minh City.

Basically, it's got everything.

First up, Hanoi.

A city where crossing the road feels like you've accidentally entered the final level of a computer game.

Fortunately, late October is one of the best times to visit. The worst of the heat and humidity has disappeared, making it much easier to spend your days wandering ancient streets, exploring markets, drinking questionable amounts of coffee and convincing yourself that one more bowl of pho is absolutely necessary.

Then comes Ninh Binh.

Or as it's otherwise known...

"The place that makes everyone else's holiday photos look average."

Limestone mountains. Rice fields. River caves. Ancient temples.

It's one of those rare places where you take a photo, look at it and think:

"That actually doesn't do it justice."

After all that sightseeing, it's time for Phu Quoc Island.

And this is where things get dangerous.

November marks the start of the dry season, meaning blue skies, warm seas and perfect beach weather.

The kind of place where you order one cocktail at sunset and suddenly it's three hours later and you're discussing whether moving there permanently is a realistic life choice.
(It isn't. But you'll discuss it anyway.)

Then it's on to Ho Chi Minh City.

Fast.

Loud.

Busy.

Brilliant.

The rainy season is fading, the city is buzzing, and every street seems to contain either incredible food, an amazing bar, or something that makes you stop and say, "What on earth is going on there?"

Which, let's be honest, is exactly what most people want from an adventure.

Along the way expect:

🍜 Street food that will ruin your local takeaway forever
🍺 Beer so cheap you'll check the menu twice because surely that's a typo
🚤 Boat trips through scenery that looks AI-generated
🌴 Beach sunsets that make you briefly consider becoming a travel influencer
📸 Hundreds of photos you'll swear you're only posting a few of
🤣 Stories that get slightly less accurate and slightly more entertaining every time they're told

And before anyone asks...

Yes, the price includes:

✈️ Return international flights from Gatwick (alter. Dept airports available on request)
✈️ Domestic flights within Vietnam
🏨 15 nights’ accommodation
🥐 Daily breakfast
🚗 Private transfers throughout

All for £2,143 per person (£4,286 based on two sharing).

Honestly, if someone described this trip to me and asked me to guess the price, I'd have started a lot higher.

Vietnam isn't the sort of holiday where you spend two weeks next to a pool.

It's the sort of trip that has you looking at flights again before you've even unpacked.

Who's in? 🇻🇳🍺✈️

🚨 Greek island lovers… you might want to sit down for this one. 🚨

Every now and then, a hotel lands that makes me stop scrolling, open Google Maps, and start checking flights immediately.

This is one of them.

Perched high above the Aegean on Paros, this brand-new adults-only escape is bringing serious style to one of Greece’s most exciting islands — and I’d put good money on it being one of the most talked-about openings in the Cyclades this year.

Whitewashed Cycladic architecture spilling down the cliffside. Spacious earth-toned suites. Private pools with big, squishy daybeds made for disappearing into. Endless Aegean sea views. Calm, curated spaces everywhere you look. And that effortless Greek ability to make luxury feel completely natural.

A spa designed for full reset mode — slow, restorative, properly indulgent.

And the food? Properly dangerous. A mix of fresh, vibrant Mediterranean plates and Japanese-inspired dishes that turn “we’ll just have small sharing plates” into ordering everything… and not regretting a single bite. 😏

But here’s the real story…

It’s in Paros.

And if it’s not on your radar yet, it should be.

Because while Mykonos and Santorini still take the spotlight, Paros is where things have quietly shifted — same Cycladic beauty, just cooler, calmer, more effortless.

Think whitewashed villages, bougainvillea-filled lanes, hidden coves, golden beaches, chic beach bars, and harbours where lunch casually becomes dinner.

One minute you’re in Naoussa, the next you’re in crystal-clear water or hopping between beaches you didn’t even plan to find.

Getting there is easy too — fly London to Santorini or Mykonos, then ferry across the Aegean, or turn it into a proper island-hopping escape.

And honestly… once you’re there, everything else fades out pretty quickly.

It gets under your skin.

Pool. Sea. Spa. Repeat.

Long lunches into sunset drinks. Dinners that drift late without trying. And that feeling you’ve stumbled on something you probably shouldn’t share. 😏

Now for the main reason I told you to get yourself safely seated😮

💥 £485pp (based on 2 sharing, hotel only) — live today… blink and it’s gone.
💥 7 nights | Breakfast included | 27 June – 4 July 2026

Not what you expected for this level of style, right? 👀

So while everyone else fights over the usual spots…

You could be slipping into Paros instead.

Pop me a message. I’ll do the rest. 😉

Under-the-Radar Greek City Break— Direct from the UK, 30 Minutes from the Sea 😜

🇬🇷 Thessaloniki doesn’t feel like it’s trying to win you over.

Which is exactly why it does.

It’s a proper, working Greek city — busy waterfront, full cafés, late dinners, football chat drifting across tables, life happening all around you.

And you’re just… in it.

No staged “tourist moment” energy. No pressure to tick off a list. Just a city with enough going on that you naturally fall into its rhythm.

Then there’s the twist.

🌊 A coastline 30 minutes away.

So the pace shifts when you want it to — city one day, sea the next — without turning your holiday into a logistics exercise.

And then the bit that still catches people out:

✈️ Around 3.5 hours direct from Gatwick.

Leave in the morning. Be somewhere completely different by lunchtime.

🏙️ A city that feels lived-in, not staged
🌊 Beaches close enough to feel spontaneous
🍸 Evenings that tend to take care of themselves

📅 23 – 30 September 2026 departures

✨ 7 nights @ £758pp
🌿 Boutique design stay with breakfast @ £802pp

✈️ Return flights | 🧳 Bags | 🚗 Private transfers

Not a “big statement” destination.

Just one of those places that quietly becomes a favourite. 😏

⛵️ Somewhere between Santorini and Mykonos everyone mysteriously becomes hotter, happier, and mildly emotionally dependent on olive oil. 😅

8 days sailing through the Greek Islands — Santorini to Mykonos — living your best “accidentally escaped your real life” era.

Think Below Deck… minus the billionaire tantrums, plus:
• sunset rosé on deck
• swim stops in water so clear it feels illegal
• enough tzatziki to question your life choices
• whitewashed villages that don’t look real even when you’re standing in them

By Day 3:
• someone’s in linen trousers full-time
• someone’s announced they’re “moving to Greece”
• someone’s googling boat prices like it’s a normal Tuesday

🧭 THE ROUTE VIBE

Santorini → Mykonos via the Cyclades, with possible stops including:
Paros • Naxos • Ios • Sifnos • Folegandros • Antiparos

Translation:
Tiny harbour tavernas. Bougainvillea everywhere. Cats running entire villages. And staircases designed specifically to humble your calf muscles.

🍽️ FOOD SITUATION (IMPORTANT)

NO meals are fully included onboard.
Instead:

✔️ Shared onboard food kitty (~£50–£60pp) covers basics, breakfasts, lunches & snacks
✔️ Group chips in at the start
✔️ Most dinners are ashore in Greek tavernas by the water
Which is very intentional — because nobody comes to the Greek Islands for beige buffet food on a boat.

Expect:
• fresh grilled seafood
• Greek salads the size of your face
• pita & tzatziki on repeat
• “just one glass” turning into a 3-hour dinner

Realistic extra spend: £180–£250pp for the week depending on how enthusiastically rosé is involved.

🌊 THE ACTUAL EXPERIENCE

This is not a resort holiday.
It’s:

• waking up somewhere different every day
• jumping into the sea before breakfast
• sailing instead of ferry queues in 35° heat
• long lazy lunches onboard
• golden-hour arrivals that feel slightly unreal

And yes — at least one person WILL say:
“I could actually live here.”

⚠️ THINGS NOBODY TELLS YOU

~ Santorini is stunning… but early mornings beat cruise crowds every time
~ Mykonos will make your wardrobe feel instantly underdressed
~ Naxos quietly becomes everyone’s favourite island
~ Someone WILL try extend their trip “just one more night”

📩 FINAL WORD

If your current life feels like spreadsheets, emails, and reheated coffee…

This is the reset button.

Just don’t blame me when you’re googling Paros property prices at 1am after two many glasses of retsina. 😆

26/05/2026

From Squidgy Daybeds to Sea-View Seafood Feasts — This Zakynthos Hideaway Is Filthy in the Best Way💥 Cheapest week from only £374.50pp villa only, based on 4 sharing. 😜

Tucked among silvery olive groves on Zakynthos’ dreamy northeast coast, this stylish little hideaway is serving serious main-character holiday energy. Think crystal-clear water that looks illegally blue, long lazy lunches by the sea, and evenings that accidentally turn into midnight wine sessions under the stars.

The outdoor space here is an absolute vibe. Huge squidgy daybeds are hidden beneath olive trees, there are sun-drenched terraces made for doing gloriously little, and the private pool basically dares you to leave it. Spoiler: you won’t want to.

And the location? Dangerous for your bank balance and your return-flight plans. Beachside tavernas are just a short stroll away, serving grilled octopus, prawns, seabream and ice-cold wine with front-row sea-views. Expect plenty of “we’ll just have one drink” moments that turn into three bottles and dessert.

Inside, it’s all effortlessly cool — Moroccan-inspired touches, earthy textures, airy open spaces and two gorgeous en-suite bedrooms perfect for couples, best mates or anyone needing a week of vitamin sea and zero responsibilities.

Days here can be as busy or blissfully lazy as you like. Boat through the unreal Blue Caves, spot turtles around Marathonisi Island, swim in the electric-blue waters of Porto Limnionas, explore bougainvillaea-covered villages, or simply stay horizontal on a daybed with a cold drink and no concept of time.

Then come home for sunset BBQs, slow dinners outdoors and that smug little feeling when you realise you absolutely nailed the holiday booking.

🌴 RUM PUNCHES, REEF DROPS & MIAMI VICE AFTER HOURS 🌴

Barefoot Caribbean rhythm collides with sun-faded Miami Vice style - where days blur into saltwater, sandbars and neon-lit nights that always end the same way - barefoot and glowing.

Some holidays are for “switching off”.

This one is for becoming temporarily unreachable somewhere between a rum punch in the Keys and a frozen cocktail on your own stretch of Miami Beach.

First up: five nights in Key Largo in a Junior Suite in the Coconut Wing of an effortlessly cool bay-side retreat where the vibe is less “Florida package holiday” and more barefoot Caribbean escape with a US postcode. Think swaying palms, floating docks, firepits by the water and reggae drifting through warm tropical evenings.

And yes - Key Largo genuinely is one of the world’s great diving destinations, famous for incredible scuba diving and snorkelling thanks to the only living coral reef system in the continental USA. Rainbow reefs, shipwrecks, impossibly clear water… even the non-divers end up obsessed with the sea here.

Golden nugget moments:
☞ Sunset drinks at Gilbert’s Tiki Bar - marina-side, barefoot Keys energy with docked boats, salt-in-the-air vibes and golden-hour views that do all the heavy lifting
☞ Snorkelling at John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park
☞ Boat days to dreamy turquoise sandbars that feel more Bahamas than Florida
☞ Dockside fish tacos, conch fritters and key lime pie from gloriously ramshackle waterfront spots where nobody’s looked at a clock in years

Then, just as you’ve fully surrendered to island time - Miami Beach arrives to dial things back up again. Five nights of vintage-glam beachfront living in Mid-Beach with a chic king guest room, two beautiful pools, its own beach club vibe and a private stretch of sand that puts you right on the water’s edge. Think retro Miami elegance with modern beach-club ease.

Do Miami properly:
☞ Sunrise bike rides along Ocean Drive before the beautiful people wake up
☞ Frozen cocktails and hidden courtyard bars tucked behind South Beach palms
☞ Lazy afternoons drifting through Wynwood’s street art, indie coffee spots and warehouse galleries
☞ Biscayne Bay boat days with skyline views and floating swim stops that scream “main character energy”

🍸 Trade the group chat for Sicily.
The lemons are bigger, the wine is colder, and nobody knows what day it is 🇮🇹 🍋

South-east Sicily is where Italy goes to quietly show off… all golden-stone towns, sun-faded shutters, secret swimming spots and lunches that accidentally turn into dinner.

And for one glorious week, this ridiculously chic little escape is yours from just £686pp.

Think boutique hideaway vibes, morning espresso in hidden piazzas, late-night aperitivos, dramatic coastal drives and enough pasta to make you consider extending your stay indefinitely.

You’ll be perfectly placed to roam one of Sicily’s most beautiful corners — and with your INCLUDED car hire, this is very much a “pull over because that beach looks unreal” kind of holiday.

✨ Lose yourself in the honey-coloured streets of Ragusa Ibla
✨ Sip spritzes in impossibly pretty Noto
✨ Discover tucked-away coves at Vendicari Nature Reserve
✨ Spend long lazy afternoons in Marzamemi — the fishing village currently living rent free in every Condé Nast editor’s mind
✨ Eat ancient Sicilian chocolate in Modica because apparently normal chocolate just wasn’t enough

And October? Arguably the smartest time to do Sicily.
Still beautifully warm, sea still swimmable, golden evening light everywhere… but without the peak summer chaos. Just locals reclaiming their island and travellers who know better.

Included:
✈️ Direct flights from Gatwick
🧳 23kg luggage
💺 Selected seats
🚗 Car hire with unlimited mileage + GPS
🛏 7 nights in a stylish Sicilian hideaway
☕ Breakfast included

Alternative departure airports available on request.

£686pp for all this?
Honestly… ’tis fabulous.
If Sicily’s been sitting on your “one day” list… consider this your sign 😏
