This retrospective of Anthony Gormley explores his obsession with the human form and showcases some of his rarely seen early work.

The new Children's Garden at Kew Gardens is the perfect place to let your kids run free.
Based on a site the size of 40 tennis courts it is a natural wonderland for kids with canopy walks, treehouses and hidden treasures around ever corner. Beautifully landscaped it is a tranquil delight for adults as well.

As well as the Roman Amphitheatre, The Guildhall Art Gallery has a wonderful collection of pre Raphelite paintings and sketches including this one by Paul Delaroche for The Ex*****on of Lady Jane Grey which is in the National Gallery.

Natalia Goncharova produced an astonishing variety of work crossing the boundaries between art and design. A Russian born into minor aristocracy who had made their fortunes in textiles, she was a painter, designer, illustrator, fashion designer and set and costume designer fir the Ballets Russes.
The exhibition at Tate Modern is stunning and a must for anyone interested in modern European painting.
