The Mani Peninsula Greece is a beautiful alternative to the Amalfi Coast.

Lush green trees & olive groves line this rugged coastline, crystal-clear waters and traditional stone villages give the Mani a distinct charm.

Explore pretty Kardamyli on the way down the 'middle finger' of the Pelopennese, relax with a coffee and enjoy the pretty harbour and mountain backdrop. Continue on to the sandy beach of Stoupa for a cold beer overlooking this beautiful bay, head for lunch at one of the many local tavernas and simply watch the world go by.

This whole region has a decidedly unhurried atmosphere.

Quietly sophisticated, wonderfully authentic, and still blissfully away from the crowds... perfect!

This beach is so crystal clear & only a short 3hrs drive from Athens. Perfect for a twin centre city plus beach stay.

As a rule most want sandy beach, but the big benefit of a stone beach is the ocean is this spectacular blue with no sediment kicking up, meaning sparkling clear views right to the bottom.

With predictable trade winds kicking in by lunch it's also a central spot to get to some good watersport beaches close by.

This hotel is the absolute dream, it looks like a beautiful private hacienda in California, has the brightest clear blue skies, crystal clear ocean, a warm breeze & the finest extra virgin olive oil in the world. Huge fan

I was recently lucky enough to stay at this beautiful hotel, the hotel kindly upgraded us to one of the stunning Ocean Premier King Corner Suites.

The Suite was huge, featuring King Bedroom with ensuite complete with bathtub, separate living room, an additional bathroom plus wraparound balcony. My absolute favourite feature was a separate office with Oceanview's to die for, my morning coffee and those views... what a way to get through a days work!
