Bohol & Panglao: Nature at Its Best

Another standout from Felicity’s journey: Bohol and Panglao, where the Philippines’ natural beauty truly shines.
At the Tarsier Sanctuary, she encountered these tiny, wide‑eyed primates in their protected forest habitat. Then came the Chocolate Hills: over a thousand perfectly shaped cones rolling across the landscape, turning a rich chocolate‑brown in the dry season.

Bohol and Panglao together make for the perfect combo — a bit of wonder, a bit of wildlife, and a whole lot of natural beauty. 🌿

Felicity’s highlight of her trip so far is Apo Island Tour.
She said the following “Apo Island has been one of the highlights of my trip. This is community managed marine sanctuary, so you have the local snorkel guide take you out to have a respectful encounter with the turtles. The turtles come into the shallow area to feed on sea grass. I have to say a big thank you to my guide Jean-Paul who took all these amazing photos and videos. It was also so encouraging to see the corals in such good condition and abundance of marine life, we saw, puffer fish, clown fish, parrot fish to name but a few! This initiative seems to be working well, and the community are doing a great job protecting the area. Apo island lies 7 kilometers off the southeastern tip of Negros Island and 30 kilometers south of Dumaguete City in Negros Oriental.”
