As Lord Bradford whom I have interviewed and about whom I have written said to me once, `Any patch of land that`s there they`ll buy up and develop`. So it`s not the tourists but the cartels.

At London STreet Markets Walk we aim to profile London street marekts that retain more than a little of their heritage. We totally avoid the Farmers Markets and the Food Halls. The worst of course are what are called `street food` markets which are just excuses to purvey a variety of fast food Mexican, Japanese, African etc and sell it for 5 pounds a portion.
