🚢SeaDream Yacht Club is a small ship line that many experienced cruisers overlook, while its loyal guests prefer to keep it a secret. Each of its two yachts carries only 112 guests, so the crew quickly learn your name and most days are enjoyed out on deck. Our managing director, Edwina Lonsdale, has taken 10 SeaDream Yacht Club Caribbean trips, most recently in January 2026, and here she shares why she keeps coming back.

We watched a terrific thunder and lightning storm with torrential rain last night 🌩️🌧️, but luckily we had a window to get ashore and explore Sorrento’s beautiful narrow cobbled streets, try some local delicacies and get some gorgeous views of Regent Seven Seas Voyager at anchor. 🍋

🌩️ Sailing into Sorrento… with a side of thunderstorms! 🇮🇹

It can’t always be sunny skies! ☔️ Today, with the rain pouring down, I decided to stay onboard and explore more of the ship’s incredible public areas instead.

With so much to see and discover, there’s truly never a dull moment onboard! 🚢✨

And, of course, what better way to spend a rainy day than enjoying some lovely food at Prime 7. 🍽️ One of the desserts on the menu is an incredible 14-layer chocolate cake 🍫🍰, but I opted for the rocky road bread pudding instead, and it was absolutely delicious!

Now, fingers crossed for some sunny skies in our next port of call… ☀️🤞

Sea day magic onboard Regent Seven Seas Voyager 🌊✨

We sailed through the Messina Strait before slowly cruising around a smoking Stromboli, watching little bursts of lava light up the volcano. 🌋

There was time for a little friendly competition too. I came second in trivia, tried my hand at bracelet making in the Compass Rose, and we even spotted not one but two pods of dolphins along the way. 🐬

A pretty perfect day at sea!
