Sorry for the delay we have been distracted with this amazing city and of course the cheap cheap beers! But have made to to our summer holiday together and have kicked off two weeks in Portugal. This snap is from outside Lello & Irmão a 19th Century book store with the walls and roof intracately carved out of wood and a stunning staircase that made its way up to the second floor.

After taking a bit of time to explore London (plus one missed flight) are back at it! First up on the ' hit list was Barcelona! Such an amazing place to get lost in, wandering through the never ending amazing backstreets and coming across the work of Gaudi himself

Well… just over 2 months (71 days to be exact), 15 countries, and 7577km later are back in the UK and ready to start the next big adventure!

Through heat waves, wild Betty Backroad (our satnav’s) routes to extraordinary places, Walt has come away from it a changed van. That being, without a sunroof (poor judgement on Two Kids part) and new noticeable curves to accentuate his waistline (thanks Mr. Italian driver)! As for us, despite the lack of showers and only being apart when using a public restroom, we have come away changed for the better, and full of the travel bug.

The red line is a rough outline of where we have been and experienced thousands upon thousands of life changing experiences, gathering memories that will keep us buzzing forever. Though we would have loved to keep on trucking along with Walt, exploring further and wider, it sadly is time to return to the real world to earn some of the dosh we need so we can head back and take on another round of Europe! Watch this space!
