We are an outdoor walking and exploring group to get out and about on the Hackney Marshes. Walk, Cycle, Pram, Baby Carrier, Scooter, Balance Bike, Annoyingly Slow Toddler Walking - All Welcome!! We meet:

FREE
ON EVERY WEEK (YES!! NEW YEARS DAY ETC)
ALL WELCOME!! SCHOOL AGE KIDS, HOME SCHOOLED KIDS, DIFFERENTLY ABLED KIDS, NEWBORN BABIES, CHILDMINDERS, MALE CARERS, GRANDPARENTS ETC ETC. NO AGENDA, NO RULES! See You Soon!!! XX

1. Yes all welcome
2. Yes it's free!
3. Yes all types of carers, grandparents etc welcome including childminders.
4. Yes buggies, bikes, scooters, prams all fine
5. Not essential but great idea to bring SNACK, BLANKET
6. ESSENTIAL: WELLIES, warm clothes
7. All ages welcome including mums who just want to get out the house with newborn / baby in sling. baby doesn't have to be awake to enjoy fresh air and mummy will be happier getting some exercise!
8. You can come late, contact Kim (mondays) 07879569509, Tuesdays, we are at the same place every time, between electricity building and canal on Millfileds
9. You can leave early, Monday is 10-12 and you can leave any time or stay on later.
10. You can bring an activity or game or food to share with the group
11. Yes we really do meet every week including Bank Holidays, New Years Day etc. If we can't make it we will put it up on FB

All ages and abilities are welcome to join us on our explorations through the changing seasons and activites. email [email protected] for directions on the day if you are late.

Forest Kids Hackney We are putting up swings in Millfields Park, Hackney Marshes, Wick Wood for us all to enjoy! With our friends and community’s help we can pay for the rope. Any amount you can afford to donate is welcome! 🌳😊🌳

EASTER HOLIDAY!

We have two fire specials for Easter, Monday 15th April and Monday Monday 22nd April: They are both at the Wick Wood, meet at the Princess of Wales at 10 sharp and we will walk south to the Wick Wood, or meet us a the canal entrance to Wick Wood by Homerton High street at 10:30am, we will go in the wood there to make a fire!
We will be there rain or shine, for rainy weather please bring appropriate clothing and even tarps if you can put them up in the wood!
Bring
-Plenty of water (also will help us put out the fire)
-Something to cook on the fire- dough, cheese, marshmallows..
-Treats for the EASTER EGG HUNT! (they will be hidden for the kids to find and shared out collectively)
-Wear well covered clothing there are nettles
-A basket or bag for your kid to collect their prizes
