Not every luxury brand begins in an atelier.

Some begin in motion.

For Nathalie Dionne, founder of Thalie Paris, travel has always been the real studio. Cities, climates and cultures shape the rhythm of her work — from the calm nature of Vancouver to the sun-washed freedom of California, the future-driven pulse of Shanghai and the joyful energy of Rio de Janeiro.

Each place left a trace.

Today, Thalie stands at the intersection of luxury, innovation and material research — a brand where craftsmanship meets technology, and beauty carries meaning.

Recently recognised by INSEAD’s AI Venture Lab and the European Institute of Innovation and Technology accelerator, Thalie now moves between two worlds: a global luxury house present in 18 countries, and a green-tech project exploring the future of materials.

This winter, Dionne chose the light of Cannes over the grey skies of Paris.

Because sometimes the most important destination for a creator is not a city.

It is clarity.

The Magic Collection Retreats are not destinations in the traditional sense.
They are sanctuaries — thoughtfully curated spaces where nature, ritual and stillness come together.

Rooted in local culture and shaped by intention, each retreat invites guests to slow down and reconnect — with the land, with tradition, and with themselves. Days unfold gently here, guided by natural rhythms, mindful practices and a deep respect for place.

From architecture that breathes with its surroundings to experiences designed for inner renewal, every detail serves a single purpose: meaningful rest. This is travel that nourishes, rather than distracts.

The Magic Collection is not about escape.
It is about return — to balance, clarity and presence.

📍 A collection of retreats where wellbeing is woven into the journey.
🌿 Where luxury feels personal, and time feels generous.

Seaside: A Lifestyle Resort, Crete
Where wellness flows with the Mediterranean rhythm.

As cooler days arrive elsewhere, Crete remains bathed in golden light.

Perched above the sea in Agia Pelagia, Seaside is an adults-only retreat where design, wellbeing, and nature exist in quiet harmony. Mornings begin with yoga in an open-air bamboo shala, afternoons melt into stillness at the Sea Cave Spa — carved into stone, calm and grounding.

Movement is gentle. Time slows.
Dining becomes ritual, with seasonal flavours and endless sea views.

This is not about escape.
It’s about balance.

Azulik Resort Tulum: Where Earth, Sky, and Soul Align

If Tulum had a heartbeat, it would sound like Azulik — calm, rhythmic, and slightly unreal.

Perched between the jungle and the Caribbean Sea, Azulik Resort Tulum is an eco-luxury sanctuary where architecture, nature, and human energy blur into one. Curved wooden bridges, open-air rooms, and candlelight flickering through woven walls make it feel less like a hotel and more like a living organism.

Every detail is intentional.
Every breeze, every shadow, every moment.

Movement here becomes ritual. At Oceanik Gym, fitness is stripped back to its purest form — barefoot training suspended among the treetops, guided by birdsong, ocean air, and the rhythm of nature. No machines. No screens. Just presence, breath, and body.

After a session, chilled coconut water in hand, you remember what your body is capable of. It’s not about pushing harder.
It’s about connecting deeper.

A Symphony of Spice in the Heart of the Black Forest

Beneath the vaulted ceilings of Traube Tonbach’s Schwarzwaldstube, a remarkable culinary journey unfolds.

Led by Chef Degan Septoadji, Indonesia’s rich flavours return in a refined, intimate setting — where tradition is rediscovered and presentation reinvented. Each dish is a tribute to the archipelago’s culinary heritage, honouring authentic spices while embracing modern elegance.

From Sumatra’s pungent pepper pastes and Java’s sweet-savoury kecap, to the coastal freshness of Bali and the spice-laden depth of Sulawesi — every course tells a story. Of islands and trade winds, dawn markets and centuries of culinary evolution.

This is more than fine dining.
It is travel through taste.

Aya Resort, Cyprus

At Aya Resort, luxury doesn’t announce itself — it breathes.
Island light moves through open spaces.
Time loosens its grip.
Architecture steps back, allowing rhythm to lead.
Here, days are guided by atmosphere rather than schedule.
Sea, body, and moment align without effort.
This is not a destination to consume, but one to settle into.
Aya is for travelers who listen — and let the island set the pace.
Explore why Cyprus reveals itself differently here.

Ayako Ueda Exhibition
Some journeys are not across landscapes, but across perception.
In Ayako Ueda’s work, form is not imposed — it is uncovered.
Stone becomes presence.
Gesture replaces statement.
Silence takes shape through touch, pressure, and time.
This exhibition is not about objects, but about attention.
A reminder that travel can also be inward — toward nuance, restraint, and the beauty of what almost goes unnoticed.
For those who seek meaning beyond spectacle.

Some chefs cook. Others live what they create.
Meeting Chef Diogo Pereira at Coral in the Algarve was one of those rare moments when you realise the story begins long before the plate.
He doesn’t just source ingredients — he fishes them himself, works with local beekeepers on the honey, and honours the land and sea with the same devotion he brings to the kitchen.
There’s something deeply moving about meeting someone who doesn’t perform sustainability — he lives it. And every bite tells that truth.
