MEDICINE FESTIVAL 2026 | WHERE THE WORLD’S TRADITIONS MEET 🌍
More than 50 tribes and traditions, gathered on one piece of land.
What makes Medicine Festival extraordinary is not simply its music, but its ability to bring living ancestral cultures into conversation with one another — through ceremony, dance, storytelling, art, ecology, healing and ritual.
In one weekend, we encountered Kogi teachings with Mamo Senchina, Shipibo prayer and Icaros with Don Mateo Arévalo Maynas and Adelia Agustín Fernández, Mayan fire ceremony, Mexhika dance, Southern African ancestral ceremony, and Snow Raven’s Sakha traditions from Arctic Siberia.
And then the music: Fatoumata Diawara, The Zawose Queens, Rising Appalachia, Nessi Gomes, Radhika Das, Bongeziwe Mabandla and many more — alongside conversations on Indigenous alliances, peace, the Earth, biodiversity and what ancestral knowledge might teach our modern world.
For a few days, traditions separated by oceans and thousands of years of history meet in the same fields.
Not to become one culture — but to listen to one another.
Perhaps that is the real medicine.
