Where desert meets the sea.
Descending more than 2,000 metres from the Selma Plateau to the coast, this route delivered steep drops, winding gravel roads, and the vast Gulf of Arabia stretching out beyond the cliffs.
The feeling was a powerful mix of excitement and nervous energy. But the moment we crested the ridge and saw the road spilling down the mountainside toward the sea was truly unforgettable - one of those views that stays with you forever.
This journey was part of a recce for something very special. In November 2026, we’ll return with our partners to lead a limited group in specially adapted off-road Porsches on the ultimate driving tour of Oman.
