We’re delighted to have added some delicious locally homemade cakes from Laura’s Little Cake Shed to our welcome packs at High Greenbury Barn. 🧁❤️

Alongside the cakes, our guests can enjoy fresh milk and eggs from the farm next door, together with delicious artisan Yorkshire butter. 🥛🥚🧈

We love being able to fill our welcome packs with wonderful local produce, homemade treats and products from talented small businesses and farmers in the surrounding area.

A few delicious treats to enjoy when you arrive — because every stay deserves a warm and delicious welcome! 💚

It’s wonderful to hear that our guests enjoyed their stay and made the most of everything the Yorkshire area has to offer.

We’re especially glad they enjoyed the seasonal fruit from the garden — there’s something rather special about being able to pick and enjoy fruit grown right here at the barn. 🌿🍏

A wonderful review from some very happy guests! 💚

We love hearing how our guests make the most of their time at High Greenbury Barn — and this stay included some fantastic adventures.

From exploring Hudswell Woods and letting Willow enjoy a good run at Richmond Old Racecourse, to the circular walk from Richmond Station, local ice creams and independent shops, there was plenty to discover.

They also ventured further afield to Sutton Bank, Byland Abbey, Ampleforth and the stunning Buttertubs Pass, finishing with a Sunday roast at Tan Hill. 🥾🐶🍦

It’s wonderful to know that our guests enjoyed not only the Barn, but also the fantastic walks, food, scenery and dog-friendly places right on our doorstep and a little further afield.

Sometimes a holiday is simply about slowing down, switching off and enjoying some precious time together.

We absolutely love welcoming returning guests to High Greenbury Barn — and this lovely review made us smile! 💚

It sounds like another wonderful stay, with adventures to the Northumberland coast for some beach time with the dogs, a visit to Hawes and the Wensleydale Cheese Shop, and a delicious lunch followed by a walk around Scorton Lakes.

And we love hearing about the local wildlife too — with oystercatchers and curlew flying over the garden in the evenings. 🐦🌿

✨ An update from High Greenbury Barn ✨

We’d like to say a huge thank you to our recent guests for your patience and understanding.

We know the intermittent beeping from our old fire alarm system caused some disruption during your stay, and we’re very sorry for the inconvenience.

The good news is that we’ve now had a completely new fire alarm system installed throughout the barn, so everything is working exactly as it should.

Your comfort and safety are always our top priority, and we look forward to welcoming both returning and new guests for a peaceful stay.
