Our guests were on the Father Brown Walking Tour in Blockley this week when they walked straight into an active filming day. Cast, crew, cameras rolling, right there on the village streets. And yes, they still managed to get the photo.

Days like this are why we love running these tours. Blockley is always special, but sometimes it just goes above and beyond.

Looking back at our very first Father Brown Walking Tour in Blockley last week… and what a debut.

From the iconic raised walkway on the High Street to the hidden filming details dotted around the village, it was a brilliant morning uncovering the world of Father Brown, with even a little peek at The Ginger House along the way.

A big thank you to the lovely group who made our first tour such a memorable one 🙏

While the Ton strolls through Mayfair on screen, the real-life Bridgerton House is actually tucked away in a completely different part of London!

Did you know that because Ranger’s House is a Grade 1 listed building dating back to 1723, those iconic violet flowers can’t actually touch the walls? They use a clever mix of temporary scaffolding and CGI to create the look we love without damaging the historic brickwork.
