Madonna wasn’t the only one to head to Corfu recently, I also managed to escape for a short trip in between ALevel and GCSE results, staying at the stunning Bella Mare Hotel.

After seeing Hannah from Simpson Travel present this property on so many occasions before, I felt so lucky to have the chance to experience it first hand and it more than lived up to all my expectations.

We stayed in the Exclusive Junior Suites which were stunning, large modern rooms with a generous bathroom and a relaxing private patio with views out across the sea. This also meant we had use of a stunning infinity pool with an honesty bar.

Breakfast was extensive and the fresh fruit was really tasty but the honey was sublime, while my kids tucked into all the pancakes and waffles which kept them going until lunch.

One of the best things was how easy everything was, from getting around this boutique property, to grabbing a bite at lunchtime from the poolside snack bar, our biggest dilemma each day was if we should hit the pool first or head for the sea which was lovely, clear and not too cold, just refreshing for bobbing up and down for half an hour at a time.

Huge shoutout for Ruth from concierge who helped us arrange restaurant reservations and taxis, the location of Bella Mare Hotel means you can easily get out to two local towns (San Stephanos and Kassiopi) which have great restaurants to choose from (local taxis are just 10Euro) sitting out and watching the sun sets while eating fresh fish and drinking a chilled dry rose was perfect.

Right outside Bella Mare Hotel is Avlaki Boats, we hired boats you don’t need a licence for and took off for a day along the cost, first stopping to swim in the sea and into some caves, then stopping a local bays before a longer lunch stop.

Everything about a trip was perfect, except one thing, we left too soon but will definitely go back.

A huge thank you to the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority for a fabulous day at Lingfield Park Races! 🇱🇨🏇☀️
What a brilliant opportunity to train, network and connect with a room full of fantastic travel agents, as well as meet and hopefully inspire consumers to put Bay Gardens Resort and Saint Lucia firmly on their travel wish lists. 🌴✈️
Sadly, my horses didn’t quite make it to the winner’s circle this time… 🐎😂 but with the sun shining, the Saint Lucian spirit flowing and the incredible atmosphere in the Upper Eclipse Box, I think we all felt like winners anyway! 🥂☀️
A fabulous day filled with sunshine, laughter, learning, networking and plenty of inspiration. Saint Lucia certainly knows how to bring a little island sunshine to Lingfield! 🇱🇨❤️
Thank you for having me — already looking forward to the next adventure! 🌴🏇✨

We love creating different ways for our clients to reach a targeted audience. Last week we worked with our friends at Champions UK Plc and joined the Tony Jacklin & Friends Golf Event held at The Belfry.

Our clients, Experience Turks & Caicos, sponsored the First Tee at the Tony Jacklin & Friends Charity Golf Day, followed by the drinks reception bringing the sounds of the Turks and Caicos Islands to life.

Our activation included:
Branded Experience Turks & Caicos gazebo and deck chairs
with rum punch served to welcome golfers as they arrive at the First Tee in their playing groups.

The activation was also supported by hotels including Ocean Breeze / Wymara / Salterra / Aman / Waterloo Collection and representatives from the Royal Turks & Caicos Golf Club, showcasing the destination's world-class golfing experience, and the Turks and Caicos Hotel Association.
Former Premier of the Turks and Caicos Islands, Hon. Ewing, participated as a player in one of the tournament teams playing alongside Champions CEO John Hayes. ITC Luxury Travel also attended and played alongside several of their clients, providing an excellent opportunity to strengthen relationships with key trade partners and prospective visitors at the same time.

The charity golf day provided an excellent platform to showcase the Turks & Caicos Islands to an affluent audience of golfers, business leaders, celebrities, and high-net-worth travellers in a relaxed and engaging environment. Stacy Cox

We recently hosted the travel agents of Birmingham and surrounding areas at our new-style training at The Belfry.

We welcomed 18 local travel agents with the purpose of providing a deeper understanding of the destination and its products, enabling them to confidently recommend and sell the islands to customers at the point of enquiry and booking. The informal dinner setting created an opportunity for direct engagement between travel agents on the frontline and supplier partners, allowing agents to gain valuable product knowledge, ask questions, and better understand the experiences available to their customers.

Over dinner, our partners also undertook a presentation to the room, thank you to the Turks and Caicos Hotel Association, Waterloo Collection, The Strand, The Hartling Group, and Royal Turks & Caicos Golf Club.

In addition to the training and networking elements, we also held an interview with former Premier of the Turks and Caicos Islands, Hon. Ewing, and British Olympic Field Hockey Player Calum Giles OLY, who represented Team GB at the 1996 Atlanta and 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.

Having an interview with two such successful and inspirational people helped our travel agent guests to get beneath the surface of the Turks and Caicos Islands. Hon. Ewing gave very personal and unique insights into the country’s culture, history, people, and way of life, going beyond the usual tourist attractions. The questions were supplied by the travel agents in the room, making the conversation especially relevant to the interests and experiences of travellers. Stacy Cox

We are always looking for new ways to promote our clients and recently did just this with a Private Consumer Dinner, designed to engage high-value prospective visitors through an exclusive destination experience.
We showcased our client, Experience Turks & Caicos, at an intimate dinner for a carefully selected group of high-net-worth consumers with a genuine interest in visiting the Turks & Caicos Islands.
Working in collaboration with two private networking groups, we hosted eight hand-picked members from across these groups, and in collaboration with ITC Luxury Travel, whose Group Managing Director and CEO both joined with 4 of their clients, we brought together an impressive table of high-spending consumers looking for inspiration for their next destination to visit.
From the Turks and Caicos Islands, we were joined by the former Premier Hon. Ewing, who highlighted the destination and its unique appeal.
In addition, Stacy Cox – CEO of the Turks & Caicos Hotel & Tourism Association addressed the room, and so did Nicola Wood - Senior Global Director of Sales for COMO.
Event Style:
The dinner was designed to be intimate, relaxed, and conversational, allowing guests to engage directly with destination representatives and partners while experiencing the warmth and hospitality of the Turks & Caicos Islands. Stacy Cox
