ALL RISE, MIAOW LOVERS β›ͺ

We thought we'd indulge and share some more of our newly anointed Square Mile mascot, Miaow the Church Cat πŸ₯°

Miaow resides in St Olave's on Hart Street, an absolutely gorgeous church to match the gorgeous feline resident. You can pop in and visit St Olave, or take part in one of their many events, and experience first-hand London's history, from Pepys to the Blitz and more.

And of course, if you're lucky, you might catch a special guest blessing the visitors 🐈

How often do you really take stock and realise, that as a City worker you can have your lunch break alongside one of the world's most iconic landmarks β›ͺ

As we always say, every once in a while, make sure to stop and take in your surroundings, you never know what you might find.

Have you been walking from the train station and stumbled into one of these beautiful sculptures? They form part of a wider trail across the City called Sculpture in the City πŸ§‘β€πŸŽ¨

You can bump into 11 pieces of public art dotted around the Square Mile from a range of incredible artists to brighten your day.

You can see more on the Sculpture in the City website, download a map, find more locations, and learn more about the pieces themselves πŸ”—

We're claiming Miaow as our mascot for the City of London, some could say he's our official pa(w)stor πŸˆβ€β¬›

Miaow lives in St Olave Hart Street and can often be seen walking around like he owns the place (he does, let him have his fun), and he is just the most GORGEOUS little gem 😍

Speaking of gems, St Olave's Church is a hidden gem of the Square Mile, hosting a huge range of history including that of Pepys, The Blitz and the Great Fire of London πŸ”₯

They also host their own events, so go for Miaow, and stay for the incredible church itself β›ͺ

Guildhall Yard is one of the most loved places in the City, especially for a sunny lunch spot, but did you know the secret underneath πŸ€”

The large black circle actually outlines where the old Roman Amphitheatre used to stand! πŸ›‘οΈ

You can also head down the stairs in the Guildhall Art Gallery to explore the remains of the amphitheatre and dive into London's Roman past, plus it's totally free!

Next time you're walking across the yard, have a look for the line, and you'll know you're standing atop history 😍
