Does your adventure await?......
We welcomed Erica to our community in December 2018. Unfortunately her time was cut short as she had to return back to Canada in March this year, thank you to corona virus. Despite having to cut her time abroad short, she says “I knew I was going to love it but I really wasn’t prepared for having a place I’d call my second home.”
Coming over, Erica felt a little terrified of the fact that she didn’t know anyone. Things soon changed and it ended up allowing her to build in confidence and put herself out there, starting conversations with people, she may not have done at home. It meant that when her family and friends from Canada came, she was able to show them how much she had grown and the reasons why she loved London. She is from a small country town in Canada, so London life was vastly different to the life she lived at home!
For anyone considering moving abroad, Erica says “Do it! I can’t stress it enough how amazing it was. After being in London for almost two years, I feel like I’ve barley scratched the surface. There’s endless things to do and explore”.
It can be challenging at times, but the reward you feel when you over come the hurdle is indescribable!!!
