Pilates week 2014 in the stunning Tuscan countryside : September is probably one of the best months to go and visit Lucca because it's the month where the city celebrates its patron saint, the "Volto Santo" . The day of the celebration is the 14th of September, and the night before (the 13th) a big historic procession goes through the principal streets and squares of the city, which are all lighted by thousands of candles (it's called Luminara). A fireworks display follows the procession . On the 14th a big market is held just outside the city wall and a "Luna-Park" (itinerant amusement park) stays in town for the entire month. A lots of events and expositions are organised in Lucca during September. This is why I have chosen to start the Pilates week on these dates, 13th to 20th September 2014. For those who want to be collected from Lucca airport these are the flights we recommend : Ryanair

These flowers which I walked past this morning made me think about the walks we can do in the beautiful Tuscan countryside surrounding the area where we will do the Pilates week in Lucca. The colours and the smells are outstanding and the view from the top of the hills are fantastic!

SOOOOOOO looking forward to this year's trip and I hope you are looking forward to it also. We now have even more people coming and just a few beds left so hurry if you haven't paid your deposit yet.

Anthony Diamond and I are working on the plan for classes and excursions at the moment and it's looking great - we'll let you know more about this soon! xx

Great news that the Pilates week in Tuscany is filling up fast. The sun is already shining there so that's something to look forward to!
There are still a few singles available so book fast to secure your place (and to get the cheapest possible flights!)
Remember, the dates are: Sunday 8th - Sunday 15th September.

Hi all I have more news on the upcoming retreat in the Italian countryside of Lucca .
Important to note that the dates are now finalised as 8th to 16th of September ( we change this because flights on Sunday are half the price AT THE MOMENT!).The sooner you book your flights the cheaper it will be and if you need the transfer from the airport in Pisa you need to book the following flights:
Ryanair
Flight FR 582, from Stansted to Pisa, departing at 12:50pm, and
Flight FR 589, from Pisa to Stansted, departing at 9:50pm

or

Easy jet
Flight EZY5233 from Gatwick to Pisa departing 12,50pm
and
Flight EZY5236 from Pisa to Gatwick, departing 9,50pm

Hello beautiful souls. Following last year's success and by popular demand, I am happy to report that I'll be repeating the retreat in the stunning countryside near Lucca in Tuscany.
This year, I will be joined by my friend Anthony Diamond who is also an experience Yoga and Pilates teacher.
The dates are 7th-14th September (so check out flights to Pisa with Ryanair, Easyjet, Air Berlin, BA or Alitalia.....the sooner you book, the cheaper it will be!) - what a great time to unwind and make the most of the late summer in the sunshine
