Continuing our look ahead to the upcoming Horizons of Portugal tour next month, this itinerary brings together the very finest in roads, views, dining and more.

Beginning with two nights at the five-star , previously winning the accolade of Portugal’s Leading Boutique Hotel, the hotel is set high on a hillside, overlooking historic vineyards and the Douro River. Here, one of the trip’s highlights is welcome drinks in the greenhouse, followed by a private-chef dinner in the gardens. Each dish is crafted using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and traditional flavours from the surrounding valley, coming together to create a dining experience that is out of this world.

Setting off from here, the drive sees us head through forests and vineyards, before continuing south to the Burel Mountains and the Serra da Estrela National Park - home to Portugal’s highest roads and some of the most beautiful mountain scenery.

How does exclusive access to one of Europe’s newest motorsport venues sound?

Beginning 21st June, our upcoming Horizons of Portugal tour not only brings together incredible Portuguese roads, five-star hotels and outstanding dining, but also includes a private racetrack experience at the Circuito do Sol, exclusively for Club GT tour guests. A purpose-built technical race track in the Alentejo region, this high-end motorsports destination was created to mimic the iconic twists and turns of Spa’s Eau Rouge, Le Mans’ Porsche Curves and the Nürburgring’s Karussell.
