We are sad to say that Spring into Summer 2018 weekend of walks was the final Transport for London (TfL)-funded led walks weekend and the project has now drawn to a close. TfL would like to thank you for your support and interest. This summer, Transport for London (TfL) will be launching the Summer of Walking campaign, a collection of activities that encourage people to walk for leisure or as part of their commute. Further details will be announced by TfL at the end of May.

Walk Unlimited, the social enterprise responsible for the delivery of the walking weekends on behalf of Transport for London will be creating new Walk London walking events in the future, albeit with a small charge (until we hopefully secure some funding). We will keep in touch to let you know when the new walks are due to take place. Until then, thank you for your enthusiastic support over the years, we have loved walking with you!

If you've been inspired to walk more then you might be interested in one of the many long distance walks in and around London. The London Loop is just one of them.

Thanks to everyone who joined us for TfL's Winter Wanders this weekend and made it such a success. The weather wasn't its best on Saturday, but that didn't deter thousands of you from joining us. We had a great time and we hope you did too. Remember, keep walking to get the most out of this amazing city of ours!
