Ovation Radio Full Review:
Let’s All Dance never fail to entice, enthrall & open the world of dance to all audiences. This one felt bigger, bolder & brighter than ever before. Alice in Wonderland, combines the discipline of ballet, circus, puppets & outstanding audience participation. They break the 4th wall, inviting their young audiences to be a part of the story. An experience i have no doubt will stay with many of them for a long time to come.
The company’s ability to compress the narrative into one act is an art form in its self. Staying true to the story, with strong characters, an easy to follow adaptation of the Lewis Carroll classic & stunning performances.
The simplistic & versatile set enhances the production, along with effective lighting. But at its core is its incredible company, you can see the enjoyment & passion for what they do & the smiling faces of the audiences shows how affective they are.
Orit Sutton has created a magical production infused with magic & beauty with every step. Aylssa Muller as Alice, is grace & poise personified, whilst keeping the mischievous sparkle about her. Bjön Åslund as the White Rabbit lends a playful flamboyance to the iconic character. Melanie Cox is superb as the Queen of Hearts. With a graceful presence that you can’t help but be captivated by. James Aiden Kay as Mad Hatter is a joy to watch. Bringing a perfectly placed chaos & charm to the character. Hannah Smith was an absolute delight of strength, beauty & character as the Chesire Cat.
