| FIRST SCHEDULED FLIGHT OF ETHIOPIAN LANDS AT DHAKA | Ethiopian Airlines' inaugural flight landed at Dhaka today. Flight ET678, operated by a Boeing 787-8 (ET-ATH) pictured here, touched down at 08:48AM direct from Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia.

The airline will operate five direct flights weekly between Dhaka and Addis on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, with evening flights on Mondays and Fridays.

This is the second African airline after Egypt Air offering flights between the two continents. Ethiopian has been a regular to Dhaka as it operates UN charter flights from Dhaka and they have plans for regular cargo flights too.

আজ হয়রত শাহজালাল আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দরে এসিসি অনূর্ধ-১৯ যুব এশিয়া কাপ ক্রিকেট প্রতিযোগিতার চ্যাম্পিয়ন বাংলাদেশ অনূর্ধ-১৯ ক্রিকেট দলকে অভিনন্দন জানিয়ে বরণ করে নেয় বিমান বাংলাদেশ এয়ারলাইন্স।

বিমান বাংলাদেশ এয়ারলাইন্স এর বিজি-১৪৮ যোগে দুবাই হতে ঢাকাতে আসেন বাংলাদেশ অনূর্ধ-১৯ ক্রিকেট দলের যুব চ্যাম্পিয়নরা।

ঢাকাতে অবতারণের পরে বিমান বাংলাদেশ এয়ারলাইন্স এবং বাংলাদেশ ক্রিকেট বোর্ডের পক্ষথেকে ফুলের শুভেচ্ছা প্রদান করা হয় চ্যাম্পিয়ন দলের খেলোয়াড়দের। এসময়ে বিমান বাংলাদেশ এয়ারলাইন্স এর পরিচালক কার্গো জনাব মো: কামরুল হাসান খান, এনডিসি (যুগ্ম সচিব) পরিচালক বিক্রয় ও বিপনন জনাব মোহাম্মদ সালাউদ্দিন, বিমানের বিভিন্ন স্তরের কর্মকর্তা-কর্মচারীবৃন্দ এবং বাংলাদেশ ক্রিকেট বোর্ডের উর্ধতন কর্মকর্তারা উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

উল্লেখ্য, বিমান বাংলাদেশ এয়ারলাইন্স এর জুনিয়র পার্সার ও বাংলাদেশ জাতীয় ক্রিকেট টিমের সাবেক ক্রিকেটার জনাব মোঃ সানোয়ার হোসেন 'এসিসি অনূর্ধ-১৯ যুব এশিয়া কাপ ২০২৩' এ বাংলাদেশের টিম ম্যানেজার হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পালন করেছেন।
