Led my first guided walk around Hackney Wick yesterday with a group of American drama students.

It’s a fascinating place, a tiny neighbourhood in transformation. There’s a lot of great street art here, too, that’s constantly changing. I love this - it was painted yesterday just outside Hackney Wick station.

After 18 months I finally returned to what I love doing with these four lovely people. We had a great day, visiting Westminster Abbey and The British Museum and watched The Changing of the Guard in the sunshine. We finished off the day at The Skygarden, with fabulous views over London.

The Yadav Family.. Lovely people.

Melissa, such enthusiasm for her profession and fondness towards her city, she made us fall in love with London. Well, what more can I say; such smooth coordination, touching on minute details of London's history that proved quite interesting, her genuine care and kindness to ensure all of us were comfortable, in sync and thoroughly enjoying ourselves. Her wit and sharp sense of humour only added jovial moments to the whole tour. Even though the tour was planned at the very last minute, she had it all planned meticulously and executed her guided tour so well; right from the coordination with the chauffeur, to neeting the schedule for each pit-stop to making sure we had the best photo memorabilia with us when we go back. We would most certainly endorse and recommend Melissa to everyone who wants to take in every bit of London, when they visit the great City.

It's been a very busy Summer so far, with lots of coach sightseeing tours and private family and corporate groups. Here's my happy group of International executives yesterday in the hot sunshine in Oxford. The photo of us waving from the top of St Mary The Virgin Church, Oxford, is a little blurry.. We were 127 steps up and it was taken on a phone, so not bad, considering! After Oxford we visited beautiful Hampton Court Palace and the famous Flower Show.

Hello everyone.. my page is a little bare so far this year. I have mostly been conducting tours with lovely groups from India but I am also looking forward to several private tours, including visits to Westminster Abbey and day trips to Oxford and Stratford upon Avon. I must remember to take photos of my clients and post them on here... I keep forgetting!

I haven't posted on my page for ages... mainly because I have been travelling a lot this winter... but I am back from mid-March to at least September and available for London tours and popular day trip destinations. I am always happy to give advice, even if you decide not to use my services and if I am already working on the day you want me, or have a specialist tour request, I will find you another, great guide. Good Autumn everybody! Just to let you know that I have disbanded my website and have decided to keep my page, with a new name, Melissa's London Tours. I hope that next year is as much fun as this afternoon's London city tour... A group of New Zealand rugby fans ready for a laugh (and a beer!) It's a hard job, this guiding, y'know!

What a lovely review!

Melissa... Thanks for making my visit to London something to remember. Your knowledge of the history and back stories of the landmarks is incredible. But it was the way you catered to my request for a rock and roll tour of the town that made it extra special. You researched it just for me and you were spot on with everything! We saw a lot in my 30 hour stay and I left thinking my visit could not have been better. And on top of all that you're a great person and a lot of fun! Jerry K.

Oh dear.. I have really neglected my page! Needless to say, I have been busy with group tours and private family groups from as far away as Canada and Malaysia. I still love my job!
