A Mediterranean holiday can be many things...

We believe it brings together a destination that captures the heart as much as it inspires the mind; accommodation that puts your comfort first without compromising on character or style and, above all, a warm, friendly, and professional service that accompanies you every step of the way. So talk to us about what you’d like your time away to be. We’d love to help create it.

As the season draws to a close, here’s a little glimpse of life with Simpson Travel in the last of the summer sun, from team celebrations to behind-the-scenes moments.

1–3. Discovering new areas and properties in Kefalonia and, of course, enjoying some delicious desserts along the way.

4. The mountain views from Kiani Akti Beach in Crete.

5. An end-of-season gathering of the Simpson Travel family, with team members from across Greece. ❤️

6. One of the clever cats at Mousses driving home for the season.

7. The view from Trapezaki Beach Villa, shared by one of our late-summer guests.

8. One of our lucky loyalty guests spotted a turtle on a recent trip. 🐢

9–10. Team Turkey held its annual charity event at Mavi Koy, raising over £1,200 for Kas4Kids.

Seven beaches worth travelling for. (As very committed beach enthusiasts, we’ve learnt a thing or two) 🏖️

1. Kaputaş Beach, Kalkan: A crescent of golden sand and shingle set at the mouth of a short gorge. You must negotiate 180 steps along the way, but the effort is well rewarded.

2. Navagio Beach, Zakynthos: Also known as Shipwreck Beach or Smuggler’s Cove, this spectacular horseshoe bay is encircled by dramatic cliffs, with the iconic remains of a ship resting in the fine white sand.

3. Praia da Marinha Beach, The Algarve: Set between Carvoeiro and Armação de Pêra, this is one of the Algarve's signature beaches, with golden cliffs, rock arches and turquoise water. Come for the scenery and stay for a swim.

4. La Grande Plage Beach, Biarritz: Presided over by the historic art deco casino, La Grande Plage has a sweeping promenade and a lively café culture. Add surf schools and Atlantic waves, and you have a beach with plenty of character.

5. Calamosche Beach, Sicily: Sheltered between two rocky promontories, this beautiful sandy cove offers calm, clear waters and unspoilt natural surroundings. A little slice of Sicilian coastal bliss.

6. Palombaggia Beach, Porto Vecchio: Pine trees, pale sand and translucent water set the scene at one of Corsica’s most celebrated beaches. Expect stylish beach restaurants, sun-loungers and long, leisurely lunches by the sea.

7. Sa Calobra Beach, Puerto Pollensa: Arrive by boat or drive the winding Sa Calobra road - a journey of about an hour from Pollensa - to reach this charming cove, through a tunnel carved into the mountain. Dramatic scenery and sparkling water make a visit here feel like a real adventure.

The Kalkan Regency’s Wednesday barbecue is the stuff of legends. ✨

A feast of freshly grilled favourites and an incredible spread of Turkish meze, followed by traditional Turkish dancing, all enjoyed alfresco with the twinkling lights of Kalkan as your backdrop.

Just one of those evenings that makes a holiday in Turkey so special. 🇹🇷
