August is my birthday month, and this one feels a little different.

I’ve been seeing 8/8 all over Instagram today, and it’s actually made me stop and get really honest with myself.

Not just about what I want…

But about what I’m actually willing to do to create it.

And the truth is…

I’ve been sleeping on an opportunity that’s been right in front of me.

I’ve been treating my business like a hobby. A bit of fun. Something I dip in and out of when I have the time.

But I’ve been saying I want more…

So it’s time my actions started matching that.

I’m not interested in writing a “realistic” wishlist anymore.

I want to think bigger.

Because sometimes the life you want isn’t unrealistic…

You’ve just been thinking from the version of you who hasn’t created it yet.

So today, on the Lion’s Gate Portal, and as someone who’s completely new to this whole manifestation thing, I’m writing it all down.

The big goals.
The slightly scary ones.
The ones I don’t 100% know HOW I’ll achieve yet.

And then I’m going to do the work.

Because manifestation without action is just a wish ✨

Yesterday I attended an event for Female Founders at the NatWest Accelerator where award winning entrepreneur Soohie Milliken MBE spoke about the power of building a personal brand.

One exercise really stuck with me.

Can you describe what you do in just six words?

Mine was:

“I help women change their circumstances.”

Simple. Clear. Purpose driven.

Yes, I help women travel more. Yes, I help them build an additional income. But ultimately, that’s not what I do.

I help women create more choices.

More financial confidence.
More options.
More experiences.
More belief in what’s possible.

A strong personal brand isn’t about having the loudest voice.
It’s about being remembered for the difference you make in people’s lives.

Wandering through Covent Garden and somehow landed a table at Balthazar thanks to a very kind maître d’… maybe the crutches did have their benefits after all 😏

Cocktails at the bar. Steak frites. Cool Parisian brasserie vibes in the middle of London.

And instantly transported back to the original Balthazar in late 90s SoHo when it was at the centre of the whole NYC social scene. Very SATC and brought back all the memories of my cabin crew days♥️

Pleased to say it’s still every bit as good as ever and we’ll def be back.
