It’s been 15 years since I first started my cake decorating journey after myself and my sister in law signed up to a course at the local school. It’s been a passion of mine ever since and although i’ve had breaks along the way due to family commitments and work I always come back to it. Baking and cake decorating is like therapy for me and my happy place. I wonder what the next 15 years will bring 🤔

It’s been a bit quiet on the cake front as I took 2 weeks off work to spend some quality time with the kids over Easter. It’s been lovely and I still have a few more days before i’m back to work but i’m also looking forward to getting back to baking and decorating cakes. You may think it’s just a cake but this is a vegan vanilla sponge filled with vegan buttercream, raspberry jam,drizzled with a home made raspberry curd. If you think Vegan cakes won’t be as good as a regular sponge then think again as this was delicious and loved by all who tried it. More recipes to try but if you’re Vegan or know anyone who’s Vegan then keep your eyes peeled for future posts 👀
