Wishing our youngest daughter a very happy 12th birthday. I was surprised at her request this year of an actual fruit cake (not sure I can call it cake 🤣). Consisting of water melon, a mix of berries and grapes, this was a team effort with myself and her dad
(he cut the melon😃) she enjoyed some for breakfast 🍉🍇🍓🍰

It’s been a productive morning, I have a wedding cake this week that i’m so excited to be doing. Trying a different sugarpaste that was recommended for the warmer weather so I thought I better try it out first on a dummy cake and it covered lovely. Unpacked my deliveries and got the cake drum covered. Now off to work and will get more prep done once i’m home tonight 😁

Today is our 5th daughter’s birthday, she loves a buttercream cake and asked for this chocolate cake filled with hazelnut buttercream and hazelnut sauce, covered in hazelnut buttercream, a hazelnut drip then topped with kinder and Nutella goodies. Hello, you’ve probably guessed we do love a bit of pistachio in this house.
I made a pistachio brownie not so long ago but I wanted to try a different version and I have to say this is the one I would do again. Fudgy brownie topped with kataifi and pistachio cream, covered in milk chocolate, drizzled with pistachio cream and chopped pistachios 😀. It was a big hit with the kids and I couldn’t stop eating it too 🤣
