Cutting dubs 21 years ago with my brother - back in those days if you wanted to play out your freshly made tunes you had to cut a dubplate. CDjs were very basic with little jog wheels and flappy lids to put your CD into. USBs didn’t even exist! This is where we cut our teeth. Cutting dubs for DJs on a rudimentary cutting system trying to compete with the big studios and their VMS systems which we bought a few years later. That’s where we started. That’s what we still do.

Maximum respect to all the DJs who were part of the scene and to those who love vinyl every day and understand its importance as well as to all the cutters out there. Keep cutting, keep learning.
