50K Club ✔️ I was just a mum at home with zero experience… now this.
Still can’t believe I’m saying that.
Not long ago I knew absolutely nothing about any of this. No experience, no clue, no plan. Just a mum at home thinking there has to be a way to bring in more without missing everything with my boys.
So I just… started. That’s it. No big moment. No masterplan. I show up, kept learning.
And somehow that turned into over £50,000 in travel booked. ✈️
If you’re sitting there waiting until you feel ready , you won’t. You just do it. Figure it out as you move.
That’s literally all I did.

Here are 5 things I wish I knew before starting my travel business as a mum:

1. You can build something for YOU without sacrificing your kids
I thought success meant chasing a career ladder, spend hours doing a job for someone else.
Now I build around my life,my time, my kids , my priorities .

2. You don’t need to be an expert in travel, I started with zero experience.
The training, support, and system teaches you everything.

3. People WILL judge you (and that’s okay)
Starting online, putting yourself out there… it’s uncomfortable.
But staying stuck? That’s worse.They will change you anyways regardless

4. You’re sitting on opportunities every single day, just need to know how.
I was already booking holidays, scrolling, dreaming to have the choice to choose , time , money , memories , growth. I was just not getting anything in return

5. One decision can change everything
I didn’t need to have it all figured out. Still in the process
I just needed to listen and giving it a go.

Most people think booking websites show everything available when planning a trip.

But they don’t.

There are a few things travellers usually discover after they’ve already booked.

1)They don’t show every hotel: Many hotels and suppliers aren’t even listed on big booking platforms.

2)Prices you see are usually retail: Travel agents often have access to wholesale rates or packages you won’t find online.

3)They can’t personalise your trip: Booking sites can’t tell you the best area, best room type, or hidden extras.

Knowing these 3 things could save you money and help you avoid common mistakes.

February recap

We started the shortest month of the year celebrating my dad’s 60th birthday, and surprised him with a trip to Ras Al Khaimah. Such a special few days together and memories we’ll always have.

Feeling very lucky we made it back just before all the madness started in the UAE.

February was also a month of learning and growth for me. I joined a few webinars with new travel suppliers, learning more about things like destination weddings so I can keep improving and give my clients the best advice when they’re planning their trips.

On the other side of the business I’ve been focusing on growing as well learning more, developing as a leader and supporting my team as they build their own travel businesses too.

And one thing that was really nice to celebrate this month was our wider community reaching over £400,000 in travel bookings. Pretty amazing what can happen when a group of people work together.

Now onto March.
