🚲 Poole and Countryside weekend 🚲

👋 Friday is meet up and dinner on Poole Quay with views across the harbour.

🚴Saturday - Hotel breakfast then time for business! Sort the bikes and head off into the countryside. The ‘Castleman’s trail’ is a gorgeous hard packed trail through the tree.

⛪️ Check out Wimborne and its historic church, the mega donuts in Pavers bakery and cute local shops.

☕️🍰Important refreshment business at a cafe plus local craft shops

🌳Quiet country roads take us to the market town of Blandford Forum and lunch in a Brewery Tap Room

🍝More trails for our return journey and well earned dinner down the Quay

🏊🚣Sunday focusses on exploring the Harbour edge. Beaches, waterways and people having fun!

🥟lunch in the market town of Wareham. Full roast maybe in The Granary? 😋

Return back through my Upton House and Park for a perfect relaxing weekend

Sunday Markets tour today. A feast to the senses! Cycling through a deserted City to Columbia Road flower market. Then a short hop to Brick Lane and its variety of vintage clothing and food markets. Then an even shorter hop to Spitalfields market with the most contemporary of eateries. Finally some liquid refreshments at the oldest riverside pub in London, the Prospect of Whitby (est 1520!). Back through St Katherine’s Docks and the Tower of London to the finish. What a day!
