The Tour du Mont Blanc loops through France, Italy and Switzerland, crossing high alpine passes past glaciers, meadows and mountain pastures. Ibex, chamois and marmots are often spotted along the way, with views of the Mont Blanc massif, Argentière glacier and Grand Combin.

Nights are spent in villages like Courmayeur and Champex, with raclette and Beaufort cheese on the menu and beds in mountain refuges and gîtes. The route also passes an old Roman road and the Chapel of Notre Dame de la Gorge.
