No this isnt a station on the Elizabeth Line, it’s Tottenham’s trophy room. Optimistically, they have factored expansion into the design. Proudly, the Audi Cup currently occupies centre stage.

Yesterday we travelled to one of England’s crowning glories in terms of cities and places to visit, Oxford. As official guides of the City of Westminster, we were invited by our colleagues in Oxford for a series of private themed tours of the City. Our own group were treated to a literary themed tour conducted by a superbly professional guide Jane. Please enjoy some of these pictures of things we were shown on our tour of two famous colleges of Balliol founded in 1263 and the equally fascinating Trinity. Recently we had a really nice day with a small group of people. We all met at a lovely country pub. Then we looked at and heard the story of an historic mainline railway tunnel and it’s fascinating history and disturbing ghost stories with a solid Charles Dickens connection. Then we visited a nearby windmill and had a good look inside. Followed by a walk across the beautiful Sussex Downs to a hidden war memorial and heard the story of its construction and history. Then returning to the pub via fantastic views of the Sussex weald.

Hi and , It's high time we got in touch again. We've been monitoring other similar sites and pages for prospective travellers trends and wishes and thought it might be a great idea to ask our followers to tell us the things that are most important to them. What are your preferences? Do you prefer to see and hear about the most popular destinations along with everyone else? Why wouldn't you? Or would you, being seasoned explorers prefer to visit the more obscure, or in our view fascinating places off the beaten track? Let us know in the comments and we'll respond accordingly. Meanwhile please, everyone enjoy this great weather we are experiencing here in Great Britain, particularly in the south and we hope to hear from you soon.

MS Queen Elizabeth

Not for me, but at well over 90000 tonnes the MS Queen Elizabeth is in port at Southampton today. The Cunard ship caters for over 2000 passengers, but aesthetically isn’t as pleasing to look at as its predecessors.

Coastal erosion slowly changes the shape of this island. This was once the thriving village of Atherington in West Sussex, now sadly devoured by the sea. One or two buildings remain but the rest have gone.
