Celebrate the efficiency of your physical and digital supply chains by applying for BIC's Supply Chain Excellence Award (SCEA).

Gaining this accreditation also demonstrates that your organisation is modern, technically-capable, and compliant with industry standards and practices.

The deadline for applications is Friday 30th October.

BIC is delighted to announce that the Board is seeking nominations from BIC member organisations for up to three new Directors ahead of the BIC Annual General Meeting on 24th November 2026.

If your organisation is a BIC member, you may submit one nomination, either from within your own organisation or from another BIC member organisation.

The deadline for nominations is Thursday 22nd October.

If you are just starting to work with ONIX or needing a refresher, you should book place on BIC's ONIX: Essentials Plus Training Course.

This course mixes background and theory with real-world practice and guidance to provide an understanding of the basics of ONIX and how it is used in the book industry.

ISNI - the International Standard Name Identifier - is a way of identifying authors and other contributors, including across different sectors.It can reliably prevent the problems caused when two authors share the same name.

The GBA welcomes publishing supply chain participants with an interest in sustainability to convene to discuss next steps in our collective work of considering how to collect and report meaningful data related to sustainability in the book industry.
